For Alpinist once in a while it will be restocked on seiya's site. Saw it for a couple of time since I bought mine 2 weeks back. Gotta rajin tekan F5 I guess? tongue.gif

Similar issue with my Sumo previously (same movement with Alpinist).

I sent mine to Thong Sia, they regulated the watch FOC. Till now still keeping time accurately.

Seiya will not under declare or mark as gift, the chances of getting tax by customs is still same, you may escape if you are lucky.

My recent purchase kena 5% SST which is slightly cheaper than GST time.

If you appoint pos laju to clear on behalf, there will be additional charges on top of the tax. Can't remember the exact figure though.

Always wanted to get a SARB033 but didn't pull the trigger until I found one with reasonable price on eBay about a month ago.

This piece nearly got lost in transit with Pos Malaysia with all the weird tracking updates of the watch transiting between their KLIA and Brickfields Hub for almost 2 weeks.

Finally arrived in my hand safely last week.

Agreed, can't really predict how much it will appreciate. Price might even come down when there's no longer hype / not as much demand.

My opinion, buy it, wear it, sell at cost / without much losses consider okay already. At least get to enjoy the watch.

I bought one earlier this year with the serial number of 88xxxx, it should be manufactured in August 2018.

I still think Seiko did not halt the production, on and off I still see seller selling new units on ebay for a reasonable price.
