QUOTE(timo1003 @ Nov 26 2018, 11:01 AM) Hi guys. I plan to buy a watch from seiyajapan and am curious about the imposition of possible duty tax on the purchase by our customs. Has anyone had recent experience with seiyajapan after SST2.0? I've done a search through this thread and it seems that there're mixed experiences in the past.. Appreciate any response and thanks.. Seiya will not under declare or mark as gift, the chances of getting tax by customs is still same, you may escape if you are lucky. My recent purchase kena 5% SST which is slightly cheaper than GST time. If you appoint pos laju to clear on behalf, there will be additional charges on top of the tax. Can't remember the exact figure though. |

Always wanted to get a SARB033 but didn't pull the trigger until I found one with reasonable price on eBay about a month ago.
This piece nearly got lost in transit with Pos Malaysia with all the weird tracking updates of the watch transiting between their KLIA and Brickfields Hub for almost 2 weeks. Finally arrived in my hand safely last week. ![]() |

QUOTE(fuzzy @ Apr 18 2019, 09:34 PM) Agreed, can't really predict how much it will appreciate. Price might even come down when there's no longer hype / not as much demand. My opinion, buy it, wear it, sell at cost / without much losses consider okay already. At least get to enjoy the watch. |

QUOTE(Zhik @ Nov 20 2019, 02:59 PM) If it is manufactured in 2019, then there is a big question mark. I bought one earlier this year with the serial number of 88xxxx, it should be manufactured in August 2018.Seiko officially announced stop sarb033 in early 2018, around feb. Then why are they still producing this in 2019? If they sell out this movemnet to third party, very high chance i am getting a fake seiko and the warranty also cant claim isnt it? But who can identified whether the watch is genuine product? The official seiko retail shop? I still think Seiko did not halt the production, on and off I still see seller selling new units on ebay for a reasonable price. This post has been edited by gmail: Nov 21 2019, 10:30 AM |
