Better to use a mouse pad, can opt for everglide's option which are cheaper oso, but everglide's version is Razer's Mantis Speed. Can get Everglide mats from me too. hehe

Otherwise, I'll suggest a nice clean IK A4 paper will do the job. I'm also using an A4 paper with my DiamondBack in my workplace, coz I can't alwiz bring my ProPad around, risk dirtying the nice white surface too.

For desktop users, advisable to use with mouse mat or mouse pad, at least it'll protect your valuable investment from ugly scratches.

Optical? Why dun have the optical light 1?
*
probably thats y most of us pay so much for the mouse. It's better without the red light coz won't affect the nice color coming out from the DiamondBack, Krait and CopperHead. I've previously bought a el cheapo mouse with transparent body and blue LED lights, but with the red light from the infra-red transmitter, it sure spoilled the nicer blue lights.

Is there a specific location that I can send my CH for RMA or I must contact ban leong through email first?
*

I'll suggest DeathAdder unless you want what Everdying has adviced or u want more lights coming from your mouse since the DeathAdder only has the blue scroll button and logo glowing. DiamondBack will offer you a wider range of colors. 3 to be exact.

To all the owners of Razer items, y don't you go back to ur seller and ask them for help with RMA thing ? Coz the sellers should be able to help u get a replacement unit within a week.

Usually when u submit the razer for RMA, they'll check for errors and then they'll replace a new item to you. Then they'll send the faulty unit back to Razer to claim back the newer units. As for the end users, u'll get the new replacement units for ur spoilt items.

My advice is, better u go back to ur seller, they should b able to help more efficiently.

Can recommend me which mouse good for playing rts?
I think i might buy death adder or copperhead.
As for Mantis should i go for Control or speed?
*
For FPS, go for the Mantis Speed with DeathAdder,

For RTS, any Razer mouse will be fine with the Mantis Control.

For both types of games, any Razer mouse with the eXactMat. thumbup.gif

haha........... at first im very pissed off wat he said. No use at all i told him the spec which cant really compare with naked eyes.

Tell ur friend, that u'll let the DA do the talking. Show to him how quick in response is the DA in FPS, then ask him to try with any other mouse(bsides Diamondback), then he'll notice the difference. Or better still, play CS, use the cowboy 'Draw and shoot' method, see who kill who 1st. hahaha thumbup.gif

Hi guys,

Those owners of DA with the squeeking sound, kindly compile a list of user facing the problem. Razer might be interested to know the number of ppl with the problem.

Got it bro. I sent it to Razer's Representative oledi. Will wait for their feedback. But the squeeking is really bad. I think it's more like screetching. Like those tyre burning sound. For me, it really sounds irritating. I would have RMA it. I'll post any answers I get from them here lo.

Bro, refnulf: Sorry bro for the delay. I've been pushing for the item's arrival too, hopefully soon la. Bsides it's near to April, so hopefully its during this coming month.

Razer reps wants to know how many ppl got this problem. They seems to take it very seriously. For those who are having this problem, kindly let me know, I'll forward the number of faulty units to them and hope to get some solution from them soon.

Not in M'sia yet.. Try asking the BULK ppl....
*
Just to clarify, no updated news on the Mako yet, but expect it to make its debut around May-June. For those interested one, can start saving up for it, coz if the AC-1 gonna cost RM 700(for retail), then the mako will most likely be around RM 500 +-. No news on pricing yet, but expected it to be more expensive than the Barracuda headphones.

I've checked with DHL once, to send something within 1kg to Aussie, it takes about RM 250, and its the cheapest item. So, if HK mayb its about 1/2 of the price.

For Pos Malaysia, can check it online.

But, i would like to know from any buyers of Razer stuffs from LYP or elsewhere, how long do they provide warranty for ur mouse ?

approximately how long the mouseskate will worn off? i'm using DB + everglide titan anyway
*
Usually the mouseskate wears faster on eXactMat's Control surface, basically, it depends on ur surface, if its rough, definitely will wear out fast, otherwise, it'll be very long lasting.

My DB on A4 paper(in the office) and ProPad at home, doesn't look worn at all, still looks like new, after 8 months of usage.

Lesson is dat when u wanna take ur mouse along.. put it in a pouch or sumthing to protect it>.<"

Should get either the mouse pouch by Razer, or the exactmat pouch to transport them together. It gives ample protection.
