Sigh... first time so disappointed at pcfair. Went there to cari the 226BW and non in stock. All those big blue Samsung 226BW banners tipu orang only. Go there tengok printer, 19", 17", 20" only. Called CZone, they said no stock, coming end of the month. Called Cycom, said no stock, dunno when coming. Then one stall which had only 3 of them at the beginning of the fair according to the fella, and only 1 left when I got there had some wierd new 'C' panel. Apa itu? Tak berani beli the screen eventhough it was probably the only 22" in the WHOLE of the fair.

Yep the stall at computer war was the one with the last unit, I think I know who bought that unit, because after I left, someone was inquiring about it. Too bad its a 'C'hi Mei panel, which people have been saying it's the worst out of the three.

Another day at PcFair yesterday and no 226BW in sight. ~.~ CompWar said they only brought 4 units to the fair and it was finished by the time I went there at 1pm+. Now I'm wondering whether to get the 226BW or the E228WFP instead. Any diff between those two? QUOTE(Cynox @ Apr 14 2007, 09:38 AM) dun really believe everything you heard on the internet. there is at least one user review saying the C panel is much better than the other 2. QUOTE(ReaperX @ Apr 14 2007, 10:30 AM) Cynox, you are one funny guy... aren't you contradicting yourself with that statement? LOL What he said

QUOTE(lonewolf @ Apr 15 2007, 11:34 AM) between those 2206bw and e228wfp, basically is using the same panel if i m not wrong. but seems the 226bw is better coz got less bleeding issue.. ic. Thanks for the input. I do know that many have been complaining about the bleeding issues in the 'A' type though.

QUOTE(lonewolf @ Apr 15 2007, 11:40 AM) S panel seems to be the best, though with few issues with some units atm. 'C' got bad feedback from the guys at whirlpool. They claimed it's the worst out of the three.

Hey guys, according to someone in the forums, they said the 226BW 'S' panel is no longer in production as of now, and the 'C' panel is by far the best for now. Any truths in that?

QUOTE(lonewolf @ Apr 18 2007, 06:43 PM) huh?..aren't all the 22" wide from Chi-Mei..?..am i missing something. Doesn't the 226BW have 3 types? One from Samsung, second from AU Optronics, and the third from ChiMei? Somone mentioned of a D coming too. Edit: Btw, all the 3 types come with HDCP right? QUOTE(chua @ May 21 2007, 11:03 AM) I got myself a 22 inch as well. Just fell in love with the additional screen space. But after 2 weeks, the I "literally" can't switch the unit off. The on/off button somehow doesn't allow me to turn it off. I resorted in switching the input to off the monitor. Anyways, I got 3 years of warranty off it and Dell's service is teriffic. So no regrets. What model and brand you got? o.O Kinda wierd situation. Any chance for you to RMA or do a one to one exchange with that shop?
