Hi guys,
I'm aiming at Samsung 2253BW. Just wondering why it is so cheap, it is cheaper than the old 22" LCD 226BW and 2232BW while its contrast ratio is much more higher than the older model. How come?? Very suspicious on that.
Anyone is using 2253BW? please share you experience here!! Many thanks

226BW is the most overhyped 22" panel, ever laugh.gif
I also not sure why the 2253BW is lower in term of price but what I can tell you is that, previously I have used 226BW (the so called SUPERIOR S Panel omglul) and now the 2253BW, I can't differentiate between both, it looks too similar in term of picture quality.

Just that my 2253BW have some backlight bleeding on the top of the LCD. It is not really noticeable for everyday use

BTW, I have found an interesting discussion for both model (226BW vs 2253BW), check here :

Oh and I like to add another thing, if you going to get the 2253BW, try to crank the brightness down to 80 or below and see if you hear any noise coming from the back of the LCD. Check it before bringing it back to save some hassle. Some might got that , some don't. Luckily mine doesn't tongue.gif

The V2400w is the same albeit some cosmetics changes and added Dynamic Contrast. The rest is the same.
Mind to let me know how much is the G2400w now ? smile.gif

The extensive review on the Dell 2408WFP monitor is here.

Nice review. I notice most of the user tend to focus on the input lag on this model especially in the [H]ardforum (which is one of the biggest display community in the Net). Other than that, it is one fine LCD in its price/size range.

No standard. You get what you need smile.gif
As for me, I find that 1680x1050 is a nice resolution to have but lately after using dual monitor at office for sometime, I feel that I need a secondary monitor tongue.gif

Btw, in Penang really hard to find 24" LCD sweat.gif
