Hi all,

As per topic, I want to get back my old digi number which had 'died' due to past it validity.

Tried to sign up for postpaid to get back the number at digi but was told it can't be done as the previous number is prepaid number.

The digi service centre said the number will be recycled, the prepaid number will pop up anywhere and can't be trace where it will land.

Any ideas?

If service center cannot do then no hope. No one knows where the number will land and someone will eventually take it.

I inherited a number which formerly belong to a loan shark / property agent. I know because I still getting phone call asking about house, whatsapp for property things, and then got a few ppl ask me lend them money for online gambling.

the worst part is he same ENglish name as me so I changed mine because I'm quite sick of answering yes then listen for awhile and find out its for different ppl

Worst off, the digi customer service told me the number can be salvaged as long as it haven't been recycled.

Arrived at digi service center and was informed not possible to get it back as it is prepaid, no chance of knowing whether it has been recycled, or what is the status of the number.

Told them I had prior calls with customer service (cs) and customer service said it can be done, service center told me customer service was wrong.

Aren't they the same entity? doh.gif
