In the meantime, Apple has quietly increased prices of the MacBooks.. now costs about RM1,000 more per model... E.g. 12" Macbook was RM4,769 now RM 5,899... ouch...

Ya man, Apple products are becoming unaffordable to the middle class now. Even if you could afford one, it makes no sense...

get to play with the new phone for 5 min at 1U apple reseller store.

first impression, the phone feel very fast and snappy....3D touch feel pretty solid and the 2GB ram does make a differences in multitasking.

but these incremental upgrade doesn't justify the extra 1k for the phone upgrade (6plus $3149). Will wait for the next generation of iPhone instead.

i dunno what setting I changed which makes the animation of unlocking phone and opening apps gone forever. My phone is not in low power mode. I miss the animation.

can anyone teach me how to turn it back on?

hey all, so I've been using the 6Splus for a week and yesterday I decided to update some apps like facebook whatsapp and youtube. after the update, I realize my phone turned into berserk mode where it works x2 the usual speed. example when I open up whatsapp, it pops up immediately without waiting at all, when I press home button, the app go off immediately (usually it will have a minimizing sprite like the screen being pinched) same with other apps like facebook/ instagram/ and even some games... and even opening up Settings will have no delay at all, and multitasking were x2 faster too...

I thought the update for iOS9 and 6S helps, however, this morning when I restart my phone, it goes back to usual now..  I even compare with my wife's 6plus yesterday and it shows x2 the speed, and this morning after restarting, it goes back to the same speed as the 6plus now....

its not something to fuss about but it bothers me as Im not sure if I did something wrong.. lol.. anyone else experiencing this?

So far no major issues. I have intermittent problems with my Touch ID, but it works fine on my iPad Air 2, so I'm beginning to think it's a hardware issue. It doesn't happen often enough to be a bother so I don't plan to bring the phone back for warranty claim until just before warranty period is over, heh heh...

1 thing I learned with my 3 years using 2 different Sammy flagships: hardware specs means nuts without optimization. Hence apple's reluctant and recent upgrade to 2gb, yet still more fluid than any Sammy phone regardless of its 3gb/4.
But Apple is really hard ass stubborn. I recall how I missed the share links to whatsapp feature in android when convert to Apple. But things are looking good now with Apple start releasing API for sharing data between apps.
Sometimes we need android there to keep Apple to loosen up its system locks.
The truth cannot be said the other way round. See how Apple influenced android to be less flexible? Where is sd ram now? Removable battery? Remember how Sammy keep coming up with ads to mock Apple on these features? Really a shame they swsllowing their own words.

1 GB they maintain for 3 versions starting from ip5.

You can pray for 3GB in ip8.

Iphone 6 plus holds longer from 100 to 99 compare to 6s plus. I have tried 40 mins usage with around 2 hours standby it just drop to 99. 6s plus is much faster drop. In fact i felt my  6 plus battery is better

Could be the additional 1GB RAM consuming more power, which is why Apple was reluctant to up the RAM till now, ha ha..

when i called them, the staff told me it's covered. i checked again with a different staff, same answer. hope they don't cause a fuss if i ever need to claim

err i'm not sure anyone bring up this topic before. i notice that the fingerprint access is too fast and log in straight. i don't have the time to read or view the notification on the lock screen. this is because sometimes i would like to view what notification n select which one to click in. but due to the fingerprint access too fast, it automatically click in to the latest apps notification. do i miss out any setting that can overcome this issue?
