so anyone out there if likes the color, just go for it lol, no need ask whether anyone else like or not lah... you pay for your phone, why bothering peoples comment they like or not
*
Agreed. You are buying the phone for yourself and not for them, so just choose the colour you like nod.gif

This year iPhone launch seems very "under hyped" than usual. Most probably pricing issue

I thought telco set nowadays can go direct to the reseller's service center? Maybe I'm wrong.
*
Reseller service centre will reject your warranty if you purchased it from telcos
They only entertain units bought from Apple Online Malaysia

Guys, is it normal that tempered glass SP doesn't cover until the edge of the front screen? (so putting in case won't lift it up?)
*
There are 2 types of tempered glass in the market for the iPhone 6 (and above):

1. The non full coverage glass - Does not cover the whole front screen, only covers the flat portion of the screen where the edges of the screen are not covered. Glass is fully transparent and it is compatible with all types of cases (except those case that covers the front or have built in screen protectors on its own)

2. The Full Coverage Glass - Covers the whole front of the iPhone screen including the edges. Normally comes in Black or White colour. Some phone cases might not fit with the full coverage glass types as it might lift the tempered glass off when pressing the side buttons of the case

Guys, ive noticed everyone is only getting SP on their front screen.  How about rear protection? Where can i find a stall that sells rear protection only?
*
I dont think there is any store that sells the rear sp only. They normally combo with the front sp together.
You would have to look online to purchase those rear sp or either opt for skins

I did bought quite a few Remax cable from Taobao last year.  They are not the same type you show here.  All of them are not working anymore!
*
Just make sure the cables are MFI certified if you want to future proof your lightning cables.
Cheap lightning cables are usually not MFI certified and will have problems after future iOS updates, unless you dont mind continuously purchasing the cables each time the error pops up nod.gif

IMO cheap cables only worth purchasing for Android phones where there is no "accessory not supported" problem like iOS devices

Can opt for braided MFI cables nod.gif

why not try maxis 24 hours delivery haha
*
Buy from Maxis, warranty stuck with Telco (Maxis). If buy online, warranty with Apple Malaysia and can claim from Authorised Apple Resellers (Machines, Mac City, etc) and from my experience warranty with Telco nightmare sweat.gif

wanna know whether anyone that use 6s phone your tempered glass usually covered the front camera hole? cause i saw some sp that sold in the market covered the front camera so i wonder will it affect the camera or not due to the thickness or stained from fingerprint. or it's better to choose those without covered?
*
Should have no problems if the tempered glass covers the front camera. Unless there is dust trapped underneath the tempered glass in front of the front camera, i dont see a problem nod.gif

Hi all, my iphone screen cracked while in Japan and am now thinking of getting one from the Apple store here.

Will the international warranty apply in Malaysia? Thanks!
*
No, international warranty does not apply for iphones

Btw Japan sets are slightly different from other sets as they cant mute the camera shutter sound

hi peepz! old new iPhone user reporting in.
1.. i have one question regarding warranty. i know it's stated that iphone has LIMITED WARRANTY ie. coverage is only within the country the iPhone was bought. anyone had experience successful warranty claim for foreign sets? US/SG/HK? i recently bought a US set 6s 128gb rose gold that came with a tmobile sim card in it.. got it quite cheap, so i didn't hesitate much. hehe. and i gave apple service center here a call, twice, they told me it's eligible for warranty here. so... has anyone successfully able to claim their foreign sets in Malaysia before? mind sharing?

2.. my home screen orientation seems to lag a bit. when it's in landscape, MOST of the time i have to shake the phone or twist it around before it's able to reorientate to potrait. anyone facing same issue?
*
If your set was from Singapore, there is still a chance that you may be able to claim warranty.
But yours is US set, very unlikely that any APR will accept for warranty
