QUOTE(tytung @ Oct 12 2015, 09:13 PM) So which telco is the best? Price + 4G speed + coverage. Maxis is overpriced for the amount of data they offered, so I don't know why so many people flock to Maxis. Umobile is affordable but speed and coverage is less than Celcom. So Celcom RM85 plan gives me subsidised price of RM2988 for iPhone 6S Plus 64GB. Which seems a nice deal to me. Any ideas? I believe the subsidised device for Celcom RM2,988 not inclusive 6% GST? QUOTE(yclam5729 @ Oct 13 2015, 01:53 PM) Does anyone know that if it is cheaper to buy from umobile and terminate the line next day than buying from Apple store? For e.g., on ip6s+ 64GB, for i40 plan, Phone price is Rm3786.53 after 6% GST, if one were to terminate the new line next day, one have to pay RM10.6x24 + RM10.6 stamp duty + Rm1 prorated monthly free = RM4052.53 vs RM4199 from Apple Store? Just curious, checking for friends as well. For Umobile, u shouldnt times 6% as the price is already inclusive GST, so ip6s+ 64GB, for i40 plan, Phone price should be RM3,572.20 and not Rm3,786.53

QUOTE(yclam5729 @ Oct 13 2015, 02:53 PM) I can't believe myself, my friend who bought iPhone 6 plus 6 months ago told me it is merely RM10X24 you have to pay if you leave next day from the umobile personal, I don't trust him that's why I am asking the expert. Bear in mind what i put in the price has double GST, so it will be less than 4k which doesn't make sense at all in my opinion. Anyone can clarify? The refund is calculated based on the subsidy divided by 24 months and multiplied by the remaining number of months of the 24 month period. The number of months remaining will be deemed to include the month during which you terminated your iPlan. E.g. If you subscribe to i60 where you are given a subsidy of RM381.60 and you terminate in Month 7, you are required to refund RM381.60/24 months x 18 months = RM 286.20. (Price Inclusive GST)

QUOTE(KaiHD @ Oct 13 2015, 08:23 PM) on Celcom website they have an iPhone plan, with complimentary 12gb data. anyone know what that's about? faq not saying much. also, thanks to technave.com, i got this chart. i don't understand why Umobile is the most expensive over 24 months, especially since they're supposed to rebate the upfront payment. [attachmentid=5116844] The comparison was not right, for Celcom, Maxis and DIGI, u have to include 6% for monthly commitment and the phone device as Umobile is already inclusive 6% GST
