Yup. Right now, based on today's rate, you stand to save about RM$95 if you get a Singapore (more if you fly out and get a GST refund) set. Doesn't look like Apple will adjust rates here so soon though, so we probably will be stuck at the current prices, especially since they seem to have agreed terms with Malaysian telcos already.

Obviously the difference will be negated if you have to drive or fly into Singapore just for the phone, but if you're already there for work or something, then I suppose it's worth it.

You chaps have such complex characters
All I care about is my phone having a black/dark face, so that basically means the space grey is my only option. I just don't like using bright faced phones, especially glossy white (reminds me of toilet ceramics) since I find it too distracting.

Do people genuinely find Assistive Touch useful, or are they just crazy paranoid about the health of their home button? Serious question, btw. I tried it once and it was just a liquid pain and got in the way more often than not.

I'd take the iPhone 6S upgrade, or save the money for a future phone upgrade. The iPod Wrist (that's what I'm calling the Watch) is just a glorified Notifications Screen right now. There still aren't any genuinely game changing native apps released for it. Never get a first gen anything.

I think his stats are better than fine, considering he's got a total of 8.6 hours* of screen-on time with Safari, Here Maps and Twitch. I opted for the regular 4.7" model because I simply can't live with the Plus from an ergonomic standpoint, but battery life figures like these always make me a jealous.

* I realize it's not an accurate way to judge due to Apple having this utterly daft idea that showing us a "Last 24 hrs" view is somehow better than a "Since Last Full Charge" view, but since there's no 7 Days tab in his screenshot, I think it's safe to assume he's got that usage since a fresh boot with a fully charged battery.

Frankly, we had a similar rumor like this last year about the 6s. As others have already stated. AppleInsider have about as much credibility as Najib's cabinet.

^ Not really a bug. Just sometimes if there's been no activity (either from yourself, background app refresh or notifications) the usage chart won't show until you use the phone for a few minutes. It's actually better now in iOS 9 - you'll usually get the activity chart back after 10 to 20 minutes. In iOS 8, sometimes it wouldn't show for hours.

Most of the Apple sites already suggested that a 128GB Wifi iPad Pro + Pencil + Keyboard would cost about the same as the MacBook (RM$5899), so it's not that surprising. Whether it's worth the money or not varies on the individual, I suppose. At this point in time, for that kind of money, I'd still take the 13" MacBook Pro though. That might change in future if the iPad Pro gets some truly professional grade apps that will allow me to completely ditch OS X.

I don't quite understand. You bought from a shop, but the shop says it's a Celcom set, so that means the shop is a Celcom authorized dealer/representative? So that means Celcom is directly responsible for this? If that's the case, then I wonder how many people they've already cheated. Not everyone is as keen as you to check the registration straight away. Good for you.

Answer: No, I wouldn't go to the same shop. In fact, with everyone looking to screw you in this great Kangkong-land, the only place I'd buy an iPhone in this country would be Apple's online store, and even then I'd double check my credit statement to make sure the bank hasn't screwed me over.

That, I understand. What I don't understand is the Celcom part. How does an iPhone bought at a trader have a warranty from Celcom?
