Received email from Umobile for the event launch on 15 Oct, 6pm onwards and 16-18 Oct (10 am - 10pm). Will receive the device on 15 Oct? Or just launch event?

I think you should be thinking of where to get the phone with the storage, colour amd model you want on launch day rather than what chipset is in it.

Would like to see what they on on 16 when they find out its not the chip they wanted.

Does anyone know that if it is cheaper to buy from umobile and terminate the line next day than buying from Apple store?

For e.g., on ip6s+ 64GB, for i40 plan, Phone price is Rm3786.53 after 6% GST, if one were to terminate the new line next day, one have to pay RM10.6x24 + RM10.6 stamp duty + Rm1 prorated monthly free = RM4052.53 vs RM4199 from Apple Store?

Buy from Maxis, warranty stuck with Telco (Maxis). If buy online, warranty with Apple Malaysia and can claim from Authorised Apple Resellers (Machines, Mac City, etc) and from my experience warranty with Telco nightmare

A question! What sort of screen protector you guys use? I am running on day 5 without a protector.

I am afraid to use the normal tempered glass as it will interfere with the 3D touch.

Please advise guys.

EDIT: I'm looking for a protector that will cover the edges as well (if there is any protector like that)

i think the apple official stores has a demo software installed that prevent customers from deleting the apps.

Put it this way... Imagine u have always been using a computer mouse with only 2 buttons. Then suddenly someone made a mouse with the middle scrolling button. And at the point of invention, not many softwares utilize the middle /scroll button.

I feel the 3D touch is not essential for now but rather to encourage developer to develop apps with 3d touches.
Its unknown territory for now. As for all new features, lot of unknown problems will emerge later on.

My biggest worry is, as for all buttons, there is a limited number of "clicks" before the button wore out.
