In this bold, adrenaline-fueled new comedy drama, the news that a comet is on an unavoidable collision course with Earth sets in motion the most hilariously unexpected chain of events imaginable. Set against the backdrop of apocalyptic chaos and starring Rob Lowe ("Parks and Recreation"), Jenna Fischer ("The Office"), Megan Mullally ("Will & Grace") and Mathew Baynton ("Yonderland"), the story follows an eclectic group of seemingly unconnected characters around the world as their lives start to intersect in the most unexpected ways. And when we say "eclectic," we mean a rebellious priest, an unhinged white supremacist, a mild-mannered bank manager, a germophobic cyber terrorist and an American five-star general. Some of these misfits are destined to make it to a bunker deep beneath the English suburb of Slough, and as a result will become the hugely unlikely (and totally unsuitable) future of mankind. Wouldn't that be a disaster!

By Terri Schwartz AMC debuted the first trailer for its Preacher adaptation during Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead, and soon made the video available online.
The series, which filmed its pilot earlier this year, is based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's comic book series of the same name. With Breaking Bad's Sam Catlin serving as showrunner and developed for TV by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga and Joseph Gilgun.
The new AMC drama follows Cooper as Jesse Custer, a preacher in a small town in Texas who develops special abilities. Negga stars as Jesse's ex-girlfriend Tulip, while Gilgun plays an Irish vampire named Cassidy. Together they set off on a journey to find God in the flesh.
Preacher is slated for a mid-2016 premiere on AMC.
Summary
Preacher is based on the Vertigo comic of the same name, which follows Jesse Custer, a Texas preacher who was given the ability to control others, after he came into contact with Genesis, a creature spawned by an angel and a demon. Traveling across country, Jesse teamed with his tough girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vampire named Cassidy in an adventure to take down god.
The Fall TV cancellation watch starts almost as soon as the networks begin rolling out their new series. And though this year “trimming a series’ episode order” seems to be the new “canceled,” the first official cancellation has arrived: ABC has pulled its serial-killer drama Wicked City and will air Shark Tank reruns in its place starting next week. So for whom will the cancellation bell toll next? Here are 5 more fall shows with uncertain futures.
Minority Report The Fox reboot of the Tom Cruise film franchise was dismissed by critics, and the show had its episode order cut from 13 to 10 last month. No one expects it to return once those 10 are up.
Blood & Oil Sorry, Don Johnson fans, but ABC’s primetime soap also saw its episodes trimmed to 10, and with fewer than 4 million viewers a week, this family saga will likely come to an early end.
The Player Yahoo TV’s Ken Tucker kindly dubbed this action-drama “the best of the fall’s worst new shows,” but NBC still cut back its order to 10 episodes. After that, The Player is likely all played out.
Heroes Reborn The good news is, NBC hasn’t cut its episode order. The bad news is, NBC really hasn’t said much of anything about Heroes Reborn — though they were quick to give fellow rookie Blindspot a full season order and later an early Season 2 renewal. Ratings have been modest to say the least, so this rebirth may be short-lived.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Despite being one of the fall’s most creative (and well-reviewed) new shows, this musical dramedy hasn’t been able to lure an audience. Yes, it’s on The CW so the ratings bar is lower, but even The CW wants their shows to at least crack 1 million viewers each week.
find missing person, stalk husband-wife having an affair for money... ya know typical PI job not your Sherlock/Batman detective kind of work
No she don't fight criminals for justice or mafia bosses and wear costume like Spider-man/Daredevil, Jessica Jones is an anti-hero type like The Punisher, she really don't care much about people in her city.
in season 1, she faced a man called Kilgrave ( The Purple Man ) who can mind control people include herself. Kilgrave used to mind control Jessica Jones for months and obsess with her and her powers.
How Jessica Jones escape from Kilgrave power ? Sorry I don't want to spoil it, go 'marathon watch' all episode Jessica Jones now

As a lifelong comic book fan, there was no way David was going to say ‘no’ to this role; Kilgrave is based on the Purple Man and the actor says he was given the freedom to interpret the villain in his own way, though an English accent was a prerequisite.

I agree, it's fukken boring and slowpace story. Kinda disappointed with the people in Shannara... Since the show aimed for teen audience so the result is The Shannara Chronicles is full with corny conversation, princess wearing pretty damn sexy dress, show off half naked pretty boy and dirty flirtation between horny characters... really wtf
Wynonna Earp, premiering April 1st. The new Syfy series is based on the IDW comic book series, created by Beau Smith.
Check out the teaser!
Developed by showrunner/executive producer Emily Andras (Killjoys, Lost Girl), the TV version of Wynonna Earp is described as "a fast-paced, contemporary thriller that follows Wyatt Earp’s great granddaughter as she battles demons and other supernatural beings. Melanie Scrofano (2014's RoboCop) stars as the title character, along with Tim Rozon (Being Human) as Doc Holliday, and Shamier Anderson (Constantine) as Agent Dolls.
