of course they (crew from 1st movie) dont know about aliens on earth (this show)

the 1st movie and Nostromo crew already out in space for many many years .... whatever happened/happening on Earth doesnt reach Nostromo.

anyhow, no need to be so serious about the timeline la ... even medias also got confused...

How 'Alien: Earth' Fits Into the 'Alien' Universe | TIME

Yes, the ‘Alien’ timeline is confusing. Before you dig into the franchise’s first TV series, here’s some clarity | CNN

Alien: Earth Explained - Timeline, Story & Possible Movie Connections
If the show runs for multiple seasons, which already seems likely based on Alien: Earth's positive reviews, there's a chance that the story could lead directly into the events of Alien.

Bridging the gap could potentially answer long-running questions from Alien, including whether Weyland-Yutani knew what was waiting for the Nostromo crew on LV-426.

KIVed this for a while, until they brought up the Bosch connection. smile.gif .  The supporting cast, still I would argue, not as strong as Bosch's gang.
*
huh? the transition already establish end of Bosch ma.

I haven't watched SEE, but other apple tv shows are pretty good or at least has an interesting premise, like Severance, next show I'm waiting from apple tv is the next season of for all mankind
*
you should bro, Its one of the best show TV has to offer.

Unker skip the newest severance after 2 episode....it became boring very fast with so many repetition and the mind game is giving unker headache.

Haven't have the urge to watch For All Mankind yet.

unker can say this is 1 of the best show of the year.

Looks like even Primetime Emmy Awards 2025 also agree with unker.

Really recommended. 9.5/10

Trivia: Noah Wyle won lead actor after nominated 6 times before in another medical Drama ER, only to win it 16 years later in the Pitt. Guess this guy are born to act as a Dr.

You mean the the James Franco 1?

Yes, most Stephen King adaption is not too bad.

Just sad it was not renewed for S2.

I mean, that was how the story ended in the book. Downer ending, but then again that's how most Stephen King's stories are. He just sucks at ending.
*
True, Im recommending The Outsider as a better adaptation. Simple brilliant TV material.

How is the pacing? fast or slow?
*
Its not an action filled drama, but the flow is good. slow start but end with a bang.

I'll take nice character & story writing over any explosive CGI all day, everyday.

okay thanks for the review.

Fast pacing don't mean shooting & explosion everywhere. For example The Diplomat. A political drama but I consider it as fast paced. Normally political drama I fall asleep but The Diplomat managed to keep me away all 3 seasons laugh.gif
*
I think you mean AWAKE.

Agree, The diplomat is very fast pace. Surprises keep popping left, right and center.

Unker just finished The Lowdown during the weekend.

Ethan hawk funny acting style really shine here, although the storyline kinda messy at start, but still full of mystery and twist.

Recommended, unker rating 7/10
