For the maybank 4.5%pa , meaning that that the 11th and 12th month interest is not guaranteed?

QUOTE(Plutoman @ Nov 15 2015, 06:48 PM) Actually for Maybank GIA FD, if you choose to roll over your monthly interest into your principle, you will be getting close to 4.6% pa. Of course only risk is principle/capital not guaranteed. Interest rate subject to OPR changes, I dont expect OPR to drop in near future, but if increase and maybank increase the FD rate will be bonus! only risk is principle/capital not guaranteedI thought our principle is not guaranteed if only maybank failed? No? |

QUOTE(safilo @ Dec 6 2015, 09:54 AM) From Maybank website on information on GIA FD offering Not able to uplift online.GIA FD T&C GIA FD Product Disclosure Some questions to those who have this type of FD Can this GIA FD be uplift via online? If uplift early, say, after 1 month and 5 days into the tenure, will you still get 1 month and 5 days interest (or hibah) of 4% assuming that 4% is the given rate. TIA Only entitle for 4%pa pro-rated. 5 day is not count. |
