Wah 2 years 4.6% is amazing. Hope the quota (if any) does not get fill up so fast. Prime candidate to transfer from OCBC now.

QUOTE(gsc @ Oct 20 2015, 11:13 PM) UOB has changed the system. There is a KPI (key performance index) on the counter staff on time taken to process transaction All forms have to be filled in first before proceeding to the counters. Very unfriendly to customers. Was told to go to customer service counters to get the form filled in but all the staffs were fully occupied. Comparatively Ocbc and Citi bank are much better in customer service. oh no wonder, the CS girl insisted on filling up the BC form. But there were so few customers and when my number is up, the form is still not completed yet. |

Uplifted matured FD from OCBC. Some info to share, 53 cents per BC even thought they re combined from several certs.
Deposited them under the Ambank 2 years deal. They allowed me to use fund from SA and a matured FD with top ups. Received an umbrella as gift. |

This thread is moving fast but with less info (or the info got lost) due to constant harping about the same issue.

Was planning to uplift my FD from OCBC but luckily I double check the cert. Turns out I just placed the FD last month for 13 months tenure but I forgot to change 2015 to 2016 in my record. Almost left my office already

QUOTE(kmarc @ Nov 22 2015, 08:37 AM) I have FD in Ambank that matured last week and planning to put into promotional FD tomorrow. Can I confirm whether Ambank will allow me to use it as fresh fund if I dump in some more money? I managed to do that with ambank but already know the staff for years. no need to withdraw as cash, just paper transactions.Say 30k FD (Ambank) matured and I dump in another 30k for Ambank promotion FD. Can consider "fresh"? This post has been edited by Human Nature: Nov 22 2015, 12:43 PM |

My first FD with SCB is maturing soon. Any idea what is the charge for banker's cheque (from FD upliftment)? Is the BC charge for SCB the same if I plan to combine with some fund from SA? Thank you
