QUOTE(koolspyda @ Nov 22 2015, 09:40 AM) He left because he lost faith in Rodgers. Nobody, not even the Kopites faithfuls ever imagined FSG will relieve Rodgers of his duties despite his flaws in the approach for LFC in many many games. I'm not sure about that, but I thought we offered him £100,000-a-week, while City around £160,000-a-week Many lambasted sterling for going after money but everyone forgot he wil be even paid higher in Liverpool than what he is getting at MCity, if he stayed. QUOTE(YumeNoTaMeNi @ Nov 22 2015, 02:26 PM) United fan here, huge fan of Klopp, not a fan of BR but you forgot that your club played good stuff under BR too. Almost won the league. Yes, we don't have to discredit everything that BR did... Like Klopp said:Doesn't matter if is Suarez inspired or not, BR gave your club good times too iirc. Anyway, thanks for beating the noisy neighbors. QUOTE He said: "What I said at the beginning is that you have to turn the small screws, and that's what we're doing at the moment. Brendan did a really good job and there's a good base here because of Brendan's work. I think BR has done the most that he could, but Klopp continues BR work and takes it to the next level... improves areas where BR does not have the capacity or skills to do so..."I didn't have to teach the players how to play football. Brendan's work had done that." |

To me, saying that BR made Suarez is an overstatement. The most that I would say is BR played the tactic to Suarez strength and got the most out of him... which is not a bad accomplishment

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Nov 24 2015, 09:53 AM) a walk down the memory lane QUOTE(maranello55 @ Nov 24 2015, 10:15 AM) i watched the match replay yesterday and loving it. Putting smile on my face and ive been wearing the kit for 3 days in a row now even at work haha How come I don't have such dress code at my office QUOTE(reehdus @ Nov 24 2015, 10:47 AM) Does anyone feel pressing game gonna be harder to execute at home? We already seen teams like Crystal Palace (I forget...was that away?) and Southampton exploit our pressing tactics...feels like if we playing at home we need more possession based than the counter attack we displayed at Emirates CP I think due to defensive error, while Soton cannot really recall how we conceded...Edit: Etihad and CP was a real test of our high defend against their pacey offence... hopefully JK already figured out how to play against such team |
