QUOTE(Everdying @ Oct 9 2015, 09:51 AM) give chance la, BR fanbois like yeelong like to say the only player bought by BR and sold on a profit on is Assaidi Well, already many of them are accusing us of being klopp fanboys. ?? Don't know why they mixed up with great anticipation and hope given the caliber of an rather better CV than brendans. I not sure why the complains are there when after £295 million (those panelist clarified) spent and the statistics weren't as impressive as it was made up to be of Brendan (I gave a linked the last time when it was tabulated, bar year 2, performances were all generally relegation type of tally) Perhaps we were harsh of Brendan, don't get us wrong, we were critical too of Roy hougson. Look where, what hougson did, but the glaring difference hougson spent almost nothing and was condescending to Kopites. From day one when Rodgers got the seat, most of us were apprehensive. That's the truth. Coming off as Roy's succession, and with no great CV, but only signs of "potential" and ability of having "character", it is a valid feeling. Look I did say and will remind those Brendans loyalist, I still believe off field, mr Brendan Rodgers is a good lad, a good gentlemen. He has inspired some lads, has good rapport with the British media. Till today, he isn't crucified like a media bastard unlike how Rafa is treated. The animosity from the British media towards Rafa Benitez is unbelievable, even here. Fans, I understand, there are camps for their favourite manager but hey, this is British media we are talking about. No middle ground leeway. I can see sacarstic comments (Kopites in other forums & FB) saying klopp appointment is causing some Kopites (probably here too) expecting instant turnaround of LFC fortunes and our strikers suddenly will become league top scorers. For the record, I will say this, NO, but I sense optimism. No, I don't expect instant turnabout, even if he (klopp) could do a dalglish after Roy left, and but a dip in form the season after. We know, we won't have things easy. Rodgers first season was 1-2 rungs better than the season dalglish left. We remember. Perhaps even klopp's tenure (this season), we may not even get CL or better Rodgers last season. Look, look at Liverpool squad, it's not klopp's squad, no players that he had a hand in picking off the transfer market. But I sense a good vibes, with his reputation and his support people, we hope with optimism klopp n gang will be able to fix things. No, I don't expect klopp to even do a Benitez should he win a trophy in his first season and with a squad that is not his. unbelievable, sacarsm comments there popped my eyes (those brendans loyalist) This post has been edited by koolspyda: Oct 9 2015, 09:55 AM |

QUOTE(Rotuham @ Oct 9 2015, 09:49 AM) This i concur. After years of dross british policy by the two idiots previously, klopp coming will provide a different transfer approach. Even with Transfer Committee (TC) exist, Klopp has the final say on the player to be bring in. This what i read in few website last few days.No more "marquee" players from southampton and aston villa. |

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Oct 9 2015, 09:33 AM) Some people are just dead set against BR. I am not saying i am All for him but.........some are really ridiculous. Dude you are just mad that Wodgers is gone. Get over it.Yes. Maybe Suarez papered over the cracks in BR's walls. However, if BR did not play SaS, would we have that moment? How come Kenny(bless him) could not get Suarez to click? If you lose your best goal getter, you gonna suffer. Look at Klopp's Lewandoski gone to Bayern. Lose your best players, your team is going to take a step back. The transfers is a different discussion. Coutinho is not an out and out goal scorer. Where was Cout when he was at Inter? Reserves Some people will never be happy. look out, Herr Klopp.....lose yer way, LYN Liverpool 'fans' will be out with their knives! The entire world is buzzing with the arrival of Klopp. Nobody cares now whether how Wodgers lost his job. It's the best time to display your eternal optimism now, not flogging on the dead horse. |

FSG respected Liverpool inner managements and the board. The 2 biggest clubs in the English league (LFC and Manu) with the largest fan base in truth has always been quite pro British. It's a trait, that I understand. I mentioned in many occasions. It's a trait that does go overboard and we critise. We seem to recruit not base on players merit but are guided by only the sense of players nationality. FSG did came here has said, they knew little about football, and will be happy to be guided by the people at Liverpool. I sense FSG sat back, since we tried the route before, not once but twice in managerial after Rafa (dalglish doesn't count, cause he is a Scot and one of our own), it's time we go on CV then based on sentiments. |

Haha even with a new manager people still try to find reasons to argue over. This is a new beginning guys. A new era. How about we try and show some semblence of solidarity and start anew. Other fans are butthurt with this appointment. We should all be proud and grateful that we hsve someone like Klopp to stir us into the right direction.

QUOTE(prophetjul @ Oct 9 2015, 10:08 AM) Hahaha! Yea where were u true fans when Wodgers needed your support the most? Didnt see u posting that often back then lauding your support for Wodgers?i am glad we have a new manager. i am mad there are so many 'fans' who find it so easy to call out managers in any manner they see fit when things aren't going right and yet they basked in the same glory when things are. ' Fans'...........fickle as they come. You are probably the last remnant of Wodgers stormtrooper left in LYN. But like hfi said, we always start on a clean slate. You can choose to support Klopp now or continue to whine about Wodgers. The Sunderland thread is always there for you.
