QUOTE(jacckl @ Oct 5 2015, 12:10 PM)
we dont have much choice do we? but still, klopp is proven winner at bundesliga and not some midtable coach. i do prefer ancelotti though and i believe most of us think the same as well, and  the last choice is frank de boer (proven winner at ajax).

if you ask me who i want if they are available and willing to join liverpool, i would say pep or ancelotti.
*
i am not sure if PEP or ancelotti is suitable for liverpool at the moment.
liverpool is now in a rebuidling stage while the 2 u mention normally handle team which are already proven or with star player already

Big Sam no no.

He's good at making an average team to punch above its weight but definitely not top 4 material. We have seen him at Newscastle n didnt even last a season there.

Plus he hates Liverpool.

Not saying that I want Big Sam to be LFC manager, but he did very well at West Ham. The present guy inherited a good squad and they are playing well this season.

If you look at the present table standings, you will find that the top 9 teams above Liverpool are all coached by foreigners except Crsytal Palace which is under Alan Pardew.

Alan did quite well with Newscastle for one season but again like Wodgers, he didnt last the lap. I think he is doing well at CP but still not the material Liverpool is seeking.

In a nutshell, the golden era of British managers is already a thing of the past. The sooner FSG and Liverpool realize this, the better off the club is.

Man U learnt their lesson in one season. Liverpool took 5 years to realize that.

"Oh how about that 2nd place finish?"

If there's one thing that 2013/2014 season tells me, it is that we need marquee signings in both manager and player departments to excel in the league. To hell with sabremetrics.
