With all the development going around Semenyih, I think its time the authority together with some developers spruce up the image of Semenyih town just like they do in towns in other parts of Malaysia. Below are some
recommendations or suggestions:-

- Embankments needs to be built along the roads probably some with pedestrian walkways at the sides.

- Road behind Econsave supermarket needs to be tarred.

- Plot of land in front of Speedmart99@Semenyih Sentral can be proposed to build office tower and old wooden
shops and houses (behind concrete shops) beside the plot across the river can be demolished and compensated
and developed into a modern hawker centre, a series of al-fresco restaurants and cafes with connecting walkway
and drive way.

- Road leading out of Semenyih Sentral to Ecohill Link and Jalan Bangi Lama needs to be widen to at least 4 lanes
(2 lanes going, 2 lanes coming).

- Petronas station at Broga junction should be demolished to make way for new connecting road into Semenyih
town (in front of market) with 4 lanes (2 lanes going, 2 lanes coming).

- Road leading out from Semenyih Sentral junction (beside empty plot of land, passing car wash and Semenyih
post office) and leading up to KKMart should be widen to 4 lanes (2 lanes going, 2 lanes coming).

- Plot of land behind Semenyih Sentral Bus Station can be redeveloped into office tower with connecting skybridge
to Semenyih Sentral bus station and proposed office tower in front of Speedmart99@Semenyih Sentral. Driveway
and walkway can also be built across the large drain in between connecting to Semenyih Sentral.

- Land behind Econsave and The store all the way down to Ecohill Link and Tiara South (along the river, where the
Aoba factory is) can be developed/redeveloped into mega shopping complex with more than 2 million feet retail
space.

- Other plans could be is to make Jalan Semenyih from Kajang East to Rinching into a 6/8 lane road (3 lanes
going, 3 lanes coming or 4 lanes going, 4 lanes coming).

If these projects are undertaken, together with other township developments in Semenyih completed, then we can say Semenyih is 90% to 100% developed. Just my 2 cents.

That is not a Mazda service centre, it is a Mazda assembly plant, much like a factory. You got it wrong!

They don't need to switch their lights on cause they are probably some sort of OEM company for Mazda.

On top of that there are hundreds of cars in their compound and storage area. They don't want people to know for security reasons.

Those hotels/motels are frequented by family members, buisnessman, holiday makers, adventure seekers and high level staff working nearby as well.

There seems to be handphone shops and computer shops moving into the 3/4 storey shop offices in front of Mydin Mart, Econsave and the Indian temple in Semenyih town.

There used to be a electronics store also there but now it has become KK Hotel.

Maybe if more electronics shops and outlets move in, it would be a electronics street, then it will be another Low Yat Plaza or Pudu/Pasar Road.

I see there is also a Samsung outlet there.

There is a fun fair going on near the McDonalds some weeks now, still going on. Used to be in Semenyih town though.

14 shopping malls are going to be built with 1 retail street completed and 8 under construction.

There is a Freshmart in rinching open and another coming up beside Mcdonalds.

There is also a mamak in Rinching Buisness Centre as well as some internet cafes.

Segi plans to have a college campus in Setia Ecohill 2 and an international school beside/opposite Nottingham Universiy.

Paradise valley and OUTBAC Broga similiar outdoor activities park/resorts/theme park.

Updated list of post #1 on first page with info. Among them Courts Mammoth or Courts semenyih branch at Semenyih town/Semenyih Sentral. Just opened 30/31st of December 2016.
