well the prob now is:
most of us over age
most of cards is out of league

i dun think can enter the league, maybe for us to play among us still ok lar....

lol over age is expected..
now less people want play already lol so most collecters are age 19++

well at least we take it out and play, rather than letting it rust, or fill some empty time lol

I started playing at Ruby and Sapphire. The first edition releasing EX pokemons.

Then something, i purchased skyridge theme.... And then later after that, dint buy anymore but just want to duel...

Spent shitloads of dough on cards when I was a kid and now it is completely worthless.
Had the card's kept it's reasonable value, it would be worth RM5,000 in total.

In the old time, there is aga limit. Now with the new rules, there is not age limit to play. In US, even dads and moms are playing with their children, players who won in the world are mostly 20+. In addition, gamble card is not allowed in the game (you only can seen this in yu gi oh anime). There are three division, Junior, Senior, and Master. If not mistaken, master is age 16 and up. So, most probably you won't feel weird when playing in tournament, unless the tournament stated that they mix all divisions into one. In Senior and Master division, it is very competitive and challanging. It is not a so called kid's game. Most malaysian players they active in pokebeach forum ( www.pokebeach.com) and pokegym seems to be more international. (www.pokegym.net) You can try out these website. Every year, they will rotate out some old expansion so that it is easier to introduce to new players and to keep the game fresh. You may want to check pokemon's official website to check out the rules and regulation http://www.go-pokemon.com/ Currenly the most active places are comic coner at Bangsar Shopping Center and Toybox at Atria. I been playing this game since base set. Currently, I passed my prof. test and able judge in the tournaments. Lastly, I wanted to stress out that pokemon tcg is a challanging strategy game, everybody thinks that it is for kids just because it is well..pokemon. =.= I been stopped watching pokemon anime and never play pokemon game since pokemon red/blue/ yellow. However, I am still in the game not because of pokemon, but the game itself.

Sadly speaking, no. Normally they just store in the folder after rotated out.

Unless the whole world suddenly crazy playing pokemon again la.. Then got value back. Haha

no la, its the format. Every year, they came out with new format, which they take out some older set out of the format. So, after those sets are not playable in the tournament, no one wants them. Other than collector lar.

I did took a look at the latest expansion card. It look like nintendo are going to put back those old card's effects into the new expansion set. Old pokemon coming back, and also old attack, poke power and poke body.
Those trainers card like stadium also come back again..

Well the amount spent would be rather normal coz such a small collector as myself already spent rm3k nearby to 4k...
the card playable will of course changes from time to time since if it doesnt, the company cant make money dy...

so try to suggest a few dates maybe... then we all vote for the best 1...
