Guys, can you recommend me specs for a PC for RM2000?

Aiming for a gaming rig.

On the side note, is the BenQ EW2440L a good monitor to be used for gaming?

Guys, I'm planning on building a PC rig.

My budget is around RM2000
Usage is mainly for gaming
I need suggestion on whether the stuff I'd be using back is compatible or not.

HDD is fine, I have 4TB worth of HDD.
I have a CoolerMaster 650W
ASUS P5KPL-AM

Stuff such as Wireless card, mouse, keyboard & speakers not necessary. Already have them.

Anyone who could help me with suggesting a rig build for me would highly be appreciated.

Note: The most graphical demanding game I play is Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

You can have i5 + GTX960 if you reuse your case too. If you need front USB 3.0 & PCI-E 3.0 support, top up and upgrade to a better mobo.

I don't think I can use my old casing. It's a standard casing like those you see in schools, offices and such. I'm not sure if it can fit all these new hardware. Also, if I were to upgrade the mobo, how much would I need to top up,  and what difference will it make? Sorry, I really don't know a thing about mobos  . Please enlighten me.

I'm contemplating whether i should get a gtx 970 or r9 390.

Is my 4 year old Corsair TX 650w sufficient for R9 390?
How much is r9 390 power consumption when playing latest games on max settings compared to gtx 970?

Thanks for the suggestion sir. How much should i top up of i want at least i5? I would like to use 500mb of HDD. Monitor i will try to use my Led Tv first, so no need to use budget to buy monitor. Let say i can top up my budget up to rm3k.
