now Technical Support aledi have 143 pages...
if want to find the question that aledi solved...
i think it is nearly impossible now
coz i wont find it from page 1 to page 143
and also hard to use the search function to that board...

can try to make subforum to catagories the problem??

or maybe the another board (Hardware, Software) is the 'subboard' of Technical Support??

I suggest the use of tag which is much better. Tags like driver, OS, hardware, software,monitor/lcd,virus/malware, and others. Each tag resembles problems on the thread itself.

Just my 2 cents.

there are alot of BSOD thread but we dunno which tag should be used.. because BSOD might caused by hardware, software or driver problem as well.. so if a tag is there, next time forumers can sort the thread by BSOD tag n no similar thread will be opened

i strongly agreed recommendation by Mr. tan_pang

yeah, i found there are many type of problem (technical difficulties) it might be related to software, hardware, malware/spyware, networking/LAN.
the interesting thing is, there's a thread about software in Software section, Hardware too as well as other technical problem...so, my opinion is, tagging is the better way (this is good for people have same problem -- and don't have to browse each page to find similar problem)

One question since i'm a regular in Technical Support.

Since we already have the networking forums, do we still have to solve those networking problems in Technical Support or wait for them to be moved there ? Or networking forum doesn't do this kinds of support?

i quite agree that those thread can be move out if it really suit those board.
coz i see many people post a question at some board, and TS will post the same question again in the technical support!!

But that way, we need more mods at technical support to move posts at times. and not to mention the increasing of useless posts in almost every thread at times...

some things need to be thought

if i have problem while OCing...... do i ask in Technical Support? Hardware? or Overclockers United? smile.gif

same goes to having LAN / Connectivity problem, do i ask at Technical Support? or do i ask at Network section?

IMO Technical Support should be where problem issues are placed while the other parts are suppose to be just for discussion / sharing opinions....... which unfortunately this is not what it seems now.
