QUOTE(selphy @ Nov 17 2015, 12:15 AM) Just saw Lazada selling the 6p. It is an overseas set though (so not Lazada selling directly), with no warranty, and only graphite black. Just checked estimated delivery with my Selangor post code indicates early December arrival. 32gb 2599, 64gb 2799. Probably got to add in Sirim? RM100 for Sirim and 6% GST based on invoice value plus courier charges? You can clarify with Lazada whether you can claim back the Sirim fees which I did 2 times before. You will get refund within 4-5 days after you email over the Sirim receipt Just checked my N6p is already at local poslaju office last night. Will go over to collect it later in the morning. Their delivery is always late evening to my area This post has been edited by benny888: Nov 17 2015, 07:01 AM

I misunderstood Poslaju status and my phone was only sent down to KL central depot and it has reached Johor Baru this morning only. As tomorrow is a public holiday in Johor most likely I can only receive it on Thu or Sat ( Friday is a weekend holiday in Johor state)

I think remix iPhone 6 plus is definitely defective!! I had used so many type of Android last year n this year n I must say ip6+ Battery life has been the best for me It is easily double most of the androids having around 2600-3000 mAh battery It's battery life is its most impressive feature It can last me up to 2 days easily not half a day with quite heavy usage while my Android need charging daily It's standby is simply insane with close to zero battery drain even after several hours You can view my signature to see all the type of phones I had used.

QUOTE(remix2040 @ Nov 19 2015, 09:44 AM) phablet is life hahaa the P in Nexus doesn't just stand for Premium. it stands for ... too HAHA jkjk. I only go Starbucks if my friends are there to study but nothing else hahaha. I don't think it will be much difference. Due to the same Exynos 7420 processor which can cook an egg faster than I can boil water lol. Thermal throttling for the S6e is faster than any processors out there. Especially the 810 lol. I've used the 810 on the Xperia Z3+, OnePlus 2. None of them ever reach 90 degrees, other than my S6e. Normal tasks the phone can freeze up. WhatsApp can freeze up? granted that I was using my own version of whatsapp but it doesnt lock up any of my other phones. 4GB RAM is just for better cached processors. But Touchwiz's aggressive RAM management turns me off. 4GB RAM so what? cannot keep 3 apps open at the same time lol. Might as well use 512MB RAM. Not hating on Sammy, but speaking on experience haha. There is a world of difference between S6E n Note5 Unlike the S6E the Note5 DOESN'T WARM up and is surprisingly very much cooler in use. It's battery life is also much better n I easily hit 6-7 hours SOT Until I has my N6p the note5 is the smoothest n lag free android I had used this past 2 years

After check everything is working properly, I have now unlock bootloader, install TWRP and rooted the phone Now restoring my stuffs from a previous Titanium Backup Immediate impressions : phone is very snappy, camera is very fast, fingerprint recognition equally as good as ip6+ plus. However it is not really that smooth - I find Note 5 is so much smoother than it I would be comparing this phone later on with my incoming LG V10

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Nov 19 2015, 02:02 PM) If benny dont mind can add 1 more iphone 6splus hehe iphone 6s+, I only use as a secondary phone and NEVER as a main phone Is a good phone for those not concerned about its closed file system and necessity to use iTunes to manage files on the phone It is in a completely different category The only positive of the iphone 6s+ is its excellent battery life So I will not make any comparison with the Androids I do find all my apps the Android version works equally well if not better than the iphone version Maybe for gamers only the iphone is a more attractive option

QUOTE(remix2040 @ Nov 19 2015, 07:46 PM) ElementalX takes a toll on battery life as some users say on Reddit and the thread itself. Let us know on the battery life and dt2w is built into Nexus 6P's kernel. But it's disabled by Huawei. Not too sure why. I had always use this kernel in all my previous Nexus Never noticed any significant drain

QUOTE(tenchi0205 @ Nov 20 2015, 08:06 AM) Stock rom not responsive well and not smooth? Stock firmware is responsive but do lag slightly at times. This custom rom perform way much better Most normal users might not notice the slight lag but I did as I had experience using so many Androids

QUOTE(s2000c @ Nov 20 2015, 08:25 AM) good. nexus 6p support on the go cable? tq Yes ...it does out of the box However I had no issues with my 64gb thumb drive but had problems detecting my Sandisk dual 64gb otg flash drive. Still figuring out how to solve this I installed stickmount app n it could detect the SD dual usb drive but all file explorer failed I read those Sandisk dual with type C microusb had no issues

QUOTE(remix2040 @ Nov 20 2015, 11:09 AM) That's really weird. Then there shouldn't be a reason why Huawei turned it off. I'll have to try it and find out when I get my phone. DOZE is working well even with DT2W ( enabled with ElementalX kernel) on my N6P

QUOTE(remix2040 @ Nov 20 2015, 11:26 AM) Looks like I'll need to find another usb drive now That's great to hear. Can't wait to try eX out You can buy the type C micro USB ended Sandisk dual drive - I saw on youtube it is auto detected by the phone. Just plug in directly onto phone. Both my Sandisk are the older micro USB end and I need to plug in to the USB OTC cable though its full USB A port

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Nov 20 2015, 01:23 PM) Is it the one that cant read properly using file system format not supported ? I remember I had to format my SSD to FAT32 for my N6 to read ( yet still through paid-plugin for Solid Explorer ) All my drives in fat32 format

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Nov 20 2015, 01:34 PM) Then no idea what happen then. I think possibility of that USB thumb using h/w not supported yet are quite slim. Is it working on other phones ? How many SOT already ? I think Android Watch wont drain your phone batt, as dont really heard about it before. Those SD dual thumb drives work perfectly well on my ex S6E, Note5, MI Note Pro, HW P8max etc. All are plug n go !

QUOTE(dokidoki @ Nov 20 2015, 01:31 PM) my N6p drain battery quite fast...i didnt play game on it..only fb surfing and browser.. not sure is it my company email program worx and my android watch is connecting which cause battery to drain faster... morning 100%...in the afternoon already 49% I am quite happy with the N6P battery drain. Initial records indicate I could easily hit 5-6 hours SOT on mainly internet stuffs ( email, browsing, tweeter, FB, newsfeed etc), plenty whatsapp , playing up to 10 youtube videos ( average 10 min each) Still loses out to Note5 ( 6-7 hours SOT) but I am satisfied with it
