Hi, im really interested in learning viola as beginner, and I intend to learn seriously. Have piano grade 8, so its okay not to teach theory. Its better if nearer to INTI uni cos im a student there. Any recommended teachers around there? I know theres crescendo music centre nearby but Rm200 per month exceeds my budget. Better lower than Rm140, interested pls pm me thx smile.gif

I'm also studying violin here, but I also play viola as well for KLPAC string ensemble. The teacher is very good, I was a beginner in October last year but already gonna take grade 5 exam this December. The beginner fees is RM150.

You are wise to learn Viola. Too many Violinists everywhere...but only a few Violists are around. That is why Violists are always in demand.

what empire said is true
i do have friends who are viola major and give private lesson
but it's impossible to find one within your budget
RM200 per month is considered quite low...
cos good viola teacher is quite hard to find (many are violinist, not majoring in viola)
