Anyone thinking of taking some profit at $50? Very over bought now. laugh.gif
Bear(no pun here) in mind, $50 still yields 6% pa at potential dividend of $3 sweat.gif

Mine is a bit expensive. Many here are using overseas based platforms. But at my age, i just want to make sure that i get immediate service and my next of kin can access the $$$$$ easily when i go. biggrin.gif

My banks are flying quite high. Seems they have a lot of excess capital to return to shareholders.
My other big bank is HSBC. i loaded it in the HKD60s last year. Now its around HKD102! They had a court allowing them to return billions of pounds of reserves back to shareholders.
Lucky me, i did not even know about this! laugh.gif

Bro,...

For quick opening and quick access, open : FSMOne Malaysia. This can be used to buy SG shares and is very easy to maneuver too. Many of my people in Msia are using this platform now.

It's always like that, bro,.... When things tart moving, we will feel like we've not bought enough. So,.. we have to average-up, safely & smartly. Don't wait too long for the dips, not for shares like DBS now.

The secret is to always find the ones that have NOT started to move..................YET ! BUT ARE SURE TO MOVE SOON !!!!!!!!!!!

For myself, even if the share price down not move-up, I'd be happy if the divvy payout grows after I bought-in.

Singapore’s central bank is bringing out the bazooka to inject a massive dose of liquidity into the stock market.

I first bought gold in 2002 at $230 (about 80% of my gold investment)
Then the 2nd batch in 2009 at $680
Sold some(20%) in 2016 for my children's education funding.
Still left with 80%

Thank you….

Would you rather that you have continuous income from Gold… compared to having only the strong, unrealised capital appreciations that you are enjoying now ?

Any opinions here ?

i bought gold in 2002 to hedge my savings against inflation, much more than what FD would have given.
In fact, gold has behaved like capital appreciation. No income. As Warren said. gold is a useless relic metal which does not give any income. laugh.gif
