It's true. I'm quite demoralized when I was applying for my first job. It took me nearly 6 month to land a decent career. Although I was graduated from overseas, my results are average and this so-called manufacturing MNC were only consider to interview fresh graduates with at least a 2nd class upper degree.

Finally, after a hardwork and determination for 1 1/2 year , I managed to get into R&D field which I always dream. The pain and sweat during my studies along with my portfolios and communication skills I learnt during my previous job did paid off. To fresh grads out there, never stop to look out for opportunities and do not hesitate to venture into different field as you will gather a valuable experience that you won't learn in university. biggrin.gif

as most said, to a fresh grad, result play an important role. and for a working person seeking job change, exp will take over.

additionally, from my exp, a good hiring manager will always take into consideration with the person's attitude. why? very simple: by now, we have whole lots of capable people out there. why settle down with a bad attitude person that would cause more damage/problem then benefit to the company?

MNC ===> Result/Certification 1st... Experience the second thing.
