Hi Guys, any recommendation ND filter for x70, x100?
*
I'm using exactly this filter but 67mm instead for my Samyang 12mm.
Can't complain much for that price. hmm.gif

Budget only RM200-300 sad.gif

Can try Hoya PROND then. There isn't any obvious color cast. It's just the vignetting issue when you use UWA lens.

My X-T1 was less than RM 4k, around 3.6k if I'm not mistaken. Double leh. cry.gif

Same here. I bought mine with kit lens for 4.7k almost 2 years ago. Now it's like 5k? shakehead.gif

I prefer wider lens for travelling. 18mm is my favourite lens and it's also very compact. Love it! I also have 23mm and it is nice for street and portrait. biggrin.gif
*
18mm is my favourite focal length too as I only bring X70 out now. biggrin.gif

Hi Guys, newbie here. Any comment on fuji xf27mm? Am buying it for travelling purposes as it is really compact. Besides, anyone has one wanting to let go? Please PM me. Thanks!
*
It's a very compact lens and suitable if you want to carry light. If you are planning to go travel with just one lens setup, I'll suggest you to get 18mm instead as 27mm is not wide enough to take some scenery shots.

Hey Xiia0Ban,

What accessories do you have for the X70. I'm getting mine this week.

Anyone knows where I can get the Wasabi Power battery packs in Malaysia?
*
No I didn't get any accessories. It's meant to be compact so didn't thought of getting the viewfinder or the wide converter. You can consider getting a third party hood as the original hood is very expensive.

Xt10 user there, ist enough for 1 battery to tahan whole day or need another spare battery?
*
Definitely not enough to tahan. It depends on how you shoot, sometimes 1 battery can last me for 2 -3 hours.

It is.

UWA + zone focus > Any AF motor cos no need to focus at all.
*
Just wondering normally you shoot at what aperture?
I have one sammy as well but I mainly used it for landscape so that I can focus slowly.

The sammys sharp wide open so it depend on lighting condition.

Need to try the method you taught fruitie. Sounds quite easy though. hmm.gif

Why not just the 18mm f2?
*
With X70 you actually get another camera body and it's so tiny you can bring it out anytime you want even without a camera bag.
This is exactly what I thought of and the reason I got myself a X70.

Tru lah, if you have other expense to cover, the lens can wait i suppose. As regards fixed lens camera, I think they are ok if you use it as single purpose (street photography for example) or secondary camera. But for my use, especially at events, i really need the reach which makes me very frustrating while i was using X100S. But so far, one of my favourite photos was taken by X100S. So, I have no doubt the lens that is attached to it is a superb lens.
*
X70 and X100 are not meant to be shooting events. tongue.gif
I do really enjoy using X70 as a secondary camera since I don't have to bring my bulky camera just for normal outing.
