QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 1 2016, 02:26 PM) Top up less than RM 1k and you can get new X70. Aarg, the X70 is so beautiful. You guys know right I'm a sucker for retro look stuff. I think everyone here got poisoned for fuji's retro look design.

QUOTE(Shaney @ Mar 6 2016, 05:52 PM) Yup. That's right ! Just that the memory card is a simple 8g class 4. Any recommendations for accessories ? For example battery and others ? Saw review that the camera battery life is short QUOTE(philipcs @ Mar 6 2016, 06:10 PM) The amount of accessories mentioned inside. Personally think that Gordy's camera strap is a must have. It makes your camera become so sexy.

QUOTE(philipcs @ Mar 6 2016, 09:28 PM) I have Gordy but it is not too nice on X100s, it's too hard and not flexible. I was using Lance instead MEIKE Speedlite MK320 for Fujifilm X100s by -philipcs-Yeah it's a bit stiff if you compared to others but I am using wrist strap so it's still acceptable. Now I'm eyeing on Ona Bowery but not sure when I will get it yet. This post has been edited by Xiia0Ban: Mar 6 2016, 09:33 PM

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 13 2016, 02:17 AM) Erm, I will have a trip to Yunnan next month and for 18 days. Can't wait! Since only both of us will be travelling, so if we were to take shots together, gotta use a tripod right? How do you guys carry your tripod when go for vacation? Ever since I changed to Fujifilm system, my bags are so small that they can't fit a tripod. I actually bought a small little selfie stick that comes with three legs but the drawback is it can only be extended to 80cm. We are 165cm and 172cm tall respectively, 80cm doesn't seem to make a lot of justice in this case. Or is it sufficient? I also have a Joby Gorillapod, will this help? Yunnan is at low latitude with high pressure flow, so I just want to minimize bringing too many heavy stuff and it will be a burden for me. I won't be able to breathe properly already especially when I'm in Shangri-La, so try to be careful in my selections. I think it should be sufficient if you use selfie stick with wide angle lens like 18mm. Maybe you should give it a try taking selfie with the setup that mentioned since the height difference is not that much actually.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 13 2016, 11:43 AM) The thing is the selfie stick is with my friend now because she bought for me and will bring it straight to the trip. We are from different country... I believe it should be able to take selfie as long as you're shooting at 18mm or wider. Also make sure the selfie stick quality is not same as those that available in night market since XT1 is quite heavy.

QUOTE(Radec @ Mar 13 2016, 09:39 PM) Is Shutter Speed = T only limited to 1sec? Is there an easy way to do a 5 or 10 secs shutter speed? I can't seem to find it except use Bulb and control how many secs I want using the Fuji App. :/ Try to change your shutter to MS + ES or MS. Electronic shutter only allows you to shoot at maximum 1sec shutter speed.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 14 2016, 12:31 AM) I'm thinking if the so-called selfie stick is extendable to 80cm, if I were to equip with 18mm, I wonder how far should we stand if we were to have a full body shots. Need to find time to try it. Else, I will ask my friend to return back. I will just have to bring my CF tripod then. Maybe try extend your tripod to 80cm and attach your camera on it to simulate the scenario.

QUOTE(yankiat @ Mar 14 2016, 03:51 PM) Hello! Wanted to ask how do you use live view to take photo on XT1? Same method using centre point, focus and recompose? Is there any faster way to do it? Same here. I think that's the fastest way in term of focus accuracy.

QUOTE(jeffreyp @ Mar 14 2016, 04:48 PM) if u shoot portrait, turn on face detection, then no need recompose, 90% accurate slight moving subject, u turn on the group auto focus My XT1 fails to detect my face because I'm wearing glasses with transition lens.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 16 2016, 05:07 PM) Is anybody using MicroSDHC with adapter with our Fujifilm camera? How's the performance? The one I'm planning to buy is 80MB/s. I'm using MicroSDXC with adapter on XT1. No problem in bursting. PS: Just realise my memory card is U1. Maybe it's time for me to upgrade. QUOTE(fruitie @ Mar 16 2016, 06:08 PM) Eventually I bought the real SD card, rather than using adapter. How much is the damage? I'm thought of upgrading my card soon since I lost my backup 16GB card.
