Hi Peugeot bro,

Just bump into a Dongfeng Peugeot 1.6/2.0L wheel alignment specification sheet that shows preferred Front Right hand side camber angle being more negative than that of Left hand side (aka unbalanced camber angles at Front), which imo isn't quite suitable for our Malaysian road crowns.

Anyone here has a typical wheel alignment spec sheet (or a computer screenshot or printout from a local wheel alignment machine) for 'local' or imported Peugeot (of whatever models) to share indicating similarities or dissimilar ......

or any Peugeot owner here having experiencing vehicle veering left when driving straight ahead with factory specification esp when new?

I'm curious and btw I'm not a Peugeot owner.

If i can recalled correctly, steer to the left is the common issue shared by 408 owners. That was in Thread V1 or V2 if I'm not mistaken

Guys,

My friend workshop recommend to use Shell or Castrol 5W 30 fully synthetic oil as they don't have Mobil brand.

Is it suitable for  my Y2016 408 2.0 ?
Thanks.

No, if this 408 is Euro-related. May or may not include China Peugeout.
Check with your manual which should likely specify a Peugeot approved oil.

Thanks Zeng, but the manual only specify the type and viscosity.

Hmm.... you mean to say your owner manual does not specify one of the following Peugeot oil specs:

QUOTE
PSA B71 2290
Peugeot/Citroën engine oil specification introduced in 2009. B71 2290 is a low-SAPS oil intended for engines with diesel particulate filters and with Euro 5 emission standards. General specifications are: ACEA C2 or C3 with additional PSA tests.
PSA B71 2294
Peugeot/Citroën engine oil specification introduced in 2009. Main specification: ACEA A3/B4 with additional PSA tests.
PSA B71 2295
Peugeot/Citroën engine oil standard for engine before MY 1998. General specification: ACEA A2/B2.
PSA B71 2296
Peugeot/Citroën engine oil specification introduced in 2009. General specifications: ACEA A3/B4 + additional PSA tests.

From which country is your 408 assembled/manuactured if it is not from Europe?

That's why I would be quite surprise if 'OP' 408 owner's manual does not specify Peugeot approved oils in B71 229x .....
leading to non-compliance (OEM).
