Mileage about 116000km, and had to change my rear brake pads. Bought from Euromotive at RM200 just now, will prolly replace them on Monday or Tuesday.

These are ATE brand ones, which is the only stock they had at the moment. Not sure how good they are, but the guy told me its OEM replacement.

Was wondering if anyone can get their hands on EBC redstuff brakepads..

I changed from 225/45 MC5s to 235/45 Invos to 215/50 PS3s to 225/45 F1A2s and now I've settled at 215/50 Flevas.

Its more comfortable at 215/50, plus its cheaper too since 215/50 is a more common size. I'd definitely get the 215/50 PS4s for my next change.

The steering weight, I feel no difference between 225/45 and 215/50. One time I felt it become lighter is when the stupid SC filled it up with too much pressure almost 300kpa.

Its been a while since I posted. Anyway to recap the last couple of months..

I had the same problem as @Pugbunny with the alternator. Unfortunately I was nowhere near a reputable pug workshop so I had to sent to a nearby workshop to my home. Was charged RM1.9k for the alternator and workmanship, with only 3mths warranty. Don't even know whether its original or not. sweat.gif

Then recently, I had an intermittent engine fault alarm. Just went to Renautech this morning and they diagnosed with a P0039 error code "Compressor Discharge Solenoid Valve Stuck Closed". They immediately went to check the diverter valve, and confirmed. The diapghram is already brittle and broken from the 6years & 250k km of use.

Anyway they replaced it with a new one with a revised design, which is supposed to be more reliable. Cost me RM450.

I shouldve upgraded to the GFB DV+ earlier lol.

Anyway, I'm looking for an OBD2 scanner so that I can diagnose the error codes myself and research for further advice online before going to the workshop. I read that not all OBD2 works for the EP6CDTM. Anyone knows which specific OBD2 model works for the 408T?

Just want to share, a few weeks ago I bought a cheap ELM327 v1.5 OBD2 from Shoppee.

Connected it to my 408T, but the famous Torque app failed to get any readings.

Then I found an app which specializes in french cars (FAPLite), and ti my surprise it works!

Some readings are available, error codes are readable, but I have not succeeded to clear any fault codes.

Here's a screenshot:

Hi guys, havent posted here for quite a while.

Are there any reputable & reliable 3rd party workshops in Negeri Sembilan?

My 408T is almost due for service, plus need to diagnose ABS warning.

I used to send to Renautech, and since its PKP3.0, I cant simply cross state to send for service.

Appreciate your guys advise.

Thanks

I was in the same situation. My overun hit 1400km. Decided not to wait any more & service my car at SHT Service & Repairs. This workshop is setup by ex Pug mechanic. Good work & rasonable price.
