yes just contacted my Sales advisor and he said that i have to drive until 2500km to claim a new headlight. I really enjoy my peugeot 408 2.0 for 75k i really cant complain much for a brand new car

well i have both toyota altis 2.0 and peugot 408 2.0 well their service is quite similar around 300 to 600 plus if i remember correctly for service schedule, in fact some service is more expensive then the peugeot according to the service schedule and i remember the estimated price for my major service is around 3k plus for my peugeot. the back seat of my toyota is smaller then the peugeot. in term of driving characteristic i love the peugeot cause is a continental car. after all altis is not worth the price.

I'm driving 2.0 with 110k price with free service ( part n labor ) for 5 years..currently at 63k km..
Hav to say i'm loving the car..
Satisfied with sc so far..
Already located some independent peugeot workshops for regular service after 100k km..

The only regret is i didnt expect they will lowered the price down to vios/city price NOW..felt unlucky buying this car earlier..

With 76k price tag,it should beat its competitior from all car segments..!!

long time never read the thread and input, just to share my experience after coming 5 years and warranty about to end this May 2017...

the drive of the peugeot 408T is good and excellent, no doubt about it, the test drive you have done within less one hour will not tell you about owning it after 5 years  ... the excellent of good drive point has been surpassed by many bad things and to sum if after 5 years owning it, REGRET, this is based on my own experience

1. unreliable part, warranty do help to fix without cost, but numerous visit and wasting time visiting just make you 'sakit hati', and beware of 5 years warranty, 3 years is from manufacture and another 2 years is ewp (extended warranty) by insurance company, my first aircond compressor noisy replace without issue but part have to wait 2 weeks, and currently my compressor again have loud noise, and is this is what their comment, as long the air cond still cold irrespective that loud sound from compressor, you won't be able to claim warranty, after mush hassle, they willing to try to claim from ewp party now, waiting the result... make sure you have another car as spare car when owing this peugeot... beside the know issue like battery kaput so fast, not sure the elctrical, the sensor etc etc that drain so much power, i already replace 5 times, meaning battery replacement is on annual basis 

2. lousy customer services (one simple act is try to call to make an appointment for services at balakong which is near to my house), few times have to call 1-800-**** to complaint and they will call the manager to call me back and make an appointment... they should at least give good customer services to encounter the issue by the product instead of adding another bad point to their company

maybe i should compile all all faulty happen during 5 years of owning it and some is known issue to 408.. 

Test drove 408T last saturday. Compare to my wife's vios, it's more powerful & stable car - definitely because it's different segment.

Too bad they only have black color & my wife prefer white. Lucky or unluckily...didn't close the deal - despite the offer is simply irresistible (Griffe model @ RM89,888).

If it is rm76k. I wont complaint much. See the difference in price? 41% discount.

Just got my new 408 e-thp ^^ ..

Very Smooth drive with the quickshift gearbox...just the Auto ECO start stop function abit annoying & uncomfortable for passengers coz jerking when car starting, just on it when im driving alone. 

Still haven't tekan accelerator yet. All my friend told me to wait for mileage to reach 1k km to protect the engine. never rev pass 3000rpm till now.. it is true this will protect the engine or just rumours?

and the preventive maintenance.. any guidance?? 

after several issues, now my 2.0 aircond compressor problem pulak..

The soundproof padding in my engine bay is breaking apart from the tab that is holding it to the body. It is dangling and touching the hot engine cover while running. Anyone know how to fix this back? Can I get the SC to do this? Going to service it in about a month's time.

Hi, am just wondering.. is it a good idea to get 408 2.0 now with 79k price tag? am also looking at city and vios..
