Yes. The car still under warranty. I suspect it might be due to poor installation on the low pressure fuel pump replacement during the last recall. Otherwise, it could be the plastic connector crack, not too sure unless the car is lifted.

It's not really risky, the car is still safe to drive, just not really comfortable with the gasoline fume when standing at the back or side of the car. No gasoline fume in the cabin though. it's not the first time I encounter such issue. It was on other car though. It only leak a little bit if the fuel tank is fully refill. Of course I will act like very serious and nervous when sending the car to service center tomorrow.

Update to the fuel leak issue.

Service center has done checking it is the fuel pump leaking. Luckily the part is ready from vendor, so they will replace it with new set of fuel pump assembly. Will need to leave the car in service center for 2 days.

me using 408 (2.0) since Year 2012, already the 7th Years and still good for me and no major issue.

I have a practice to allocate RM500 per month for all expenses related to the car which include road tax, insurance, service, maintenance, repair and even monthly car wash and yearly polish wax. (exclude petrol)

as at to-date, the fund accumulated still + and therefore still using the car which is comfortable.

Major repair is only on air cond system which I replaced few parts and cost RM3k+

IMO the +2 warranty is useless. It dosen't cover a lot of items. The recall program that Peugeot puts out ocassionally is much more valuable and it FOC!

NA gb is known to require maintenance along the line. This is not very expensive, Renautech is very capable in handling this issue.

I'd say go ahead and do the service with Renautech. Even with my THP, I decided to stop servicing at Peugeot SC on 4th year! Found quality of service at Renautech much better than SC! 9th year now, no regretts, my car is in top shape!

Mine NA at the 8th year now with 180k km. Last year having problem with alternator and catalytic converter problem. Other than that just normal wear and tear stuff.

sorry to ask this here, may I know anyone has any recommendation to service Peugeot at workshop in the North (kedah, penang, perlis)?

own 408 for 7 years and never have this issue.
Maybe you can youtube search "car window not smooth" .. there are some technique like apply some wd40 so and so .. cheap to have a try.

actually u can use it .. as long the rating is correct.
been use total, mobil, liqui moly, Millers, comma .. as long is 5W30 (mine is 408T) then is ok .. make sure is genuine oil then ok ..

No, if this 408 is Euro-related. May or may not include China Peugeout.
Check with your manual which should likely specify a Peugeot approved oil.
