QUOTE(mayalab @ Apr 19 2017, 02:53 PM) Actually Century Marathoner DIN66L is good enough. CCA of 675 which exceeds the requirement for our Pug. Very cheap at RM270 only. More expensive battery doesn't guarantee it will last longer. wow....that price is a steal! my batt went dead yesterday and i call the Century Battery Assist. It cost me RM353 after trade in with my old batt This post has been edited by summerkw: Apr 21 2017, 10:18 AM

QUOTE(Pugbunny @ Jun 19 2018, 01:26 PM) It's now my turn for ABS faulty The sensor costs RM230 +/- per piece right? Hi, My ABS sensor and ESP is also faulty. Went Peugeot to diagnose and they will change all four sensors under waranty. But have to wait about a month. The Service people says still can drive. Is it safe to drive?

No more ABS & EPS warning sensor. will monitor for the next few days again but i think i will still send it to get check and replaced

QUOTE(savvy_savvy @ Dec 16 2019, 10:26 AM) Guys, whats your opinion on this head unit? Feel itchy to change. MYR 857.67 | 9" 2.5D IPS Android 9.1 Car DVD Multimedia Player GPS for Peugeot 308 408 308SW 2007-09-2010-14 radio DSP 32EQ stereo navigation https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/BsbVtdDmhi bros, I am also contemplating on changing the Head unit. When we change the headhunt, will it affect the settings for the car. ie, the clock settings, the safety settings like DSP etc? Any advice on this? Appreciate the feedback. BTW my 408 is 8 year strong. No major issue.

QUOTE(marquis @ Dec 17 2019, 09:05 AM) If you're changing like what savvy has posted, then it should work (provided they got the canbus etc). Pretty sure HU doesn't affect other safety settings. If you wanna change into something that's not purpose-made for the car...you might wanna head to a car accessory shop. Let them know you want full functionality and they'll sort it out for you. Ok thanks bro for the info. I guess any car accessory shop will know what to do, right? Any recommendation?

QUOTE(marquis @ Dec 17 2019, 10:35 AM) Well I'm not the type to go to car shops The only one I know of, and I know he used to actively participate in forum stuff is EA Autoworks in Bukit Jalil. Alternatively, there's a thread in the garage sales with a shop. If you're going for the one like posted above, really don't need a car shop. That one is really plug n play. You just gotta manually cut the old bracket. Look up the video link I posted above and check the French dude's profile. He has a guide on how to do that. Really quite straight forward ok cool. will look up at the garage section. I'm not those in DIY. very lousy in this department thx again
