Should not be a problem. Although I don't know how busy Desa Pandan SC is. You might have to wait a bit longer if you did not make an appointment.

Why don't you service at an independent Peugeot workshop, price will be lower. I now pay $200 for service  as opposed to $480 at authorized SC. Further more I now use Mobil 1, previously use to be PETRONAS.

Coolant change is one every 3 years. Had it changed last year with major service, can't remember brand.

Your engine is EP6CDT - 156hp/240nm. These engines are noted for premature carbon buildup. If there is no running issue, do the decarb at next service.

Our engine is EP6CDTM - 163/240nm.  This engine carries 8 mods addressing reliability issues. Pistons on this engine has been modified to handle this premature carbon buildup. Engine was bench tested to 60K km without any carbon buildup.

I just owned 408t car ..hehe. This is my first turbo car.
I wanna check with any Peugeot 408t owner here, is the engine sound very loud when still running?
I suspect especially when I on air-cond, the sound get louder.

Not sure is this normal.

Mine car also having an ABS braking system faulty now. Tried several of time off ACC then Start again, faulty still persist. I plan send it for diagnostic at SC this afternoon. anyway mine is 2.0

You monitor it and if it appear again, send it to diagnostic at SC.

Friday afternoon I just get my car to diagnostic, they found rear right ABS sensor triggered an alarm so claim it under warranty.
But today, ABS braking system faulty alarm are disappeared, no fault so weird.. 

No time to drop by. Possible if can PM me the full specification of this car via brochure? Need to know the car size, equipment..etc

It's a big leap in performance from Saga to 408NA or 408THP. What you must remember is higher the need for performance, higher the maintenance cost. But of course the driving experience derived, is at a higher level!

1.Regular maintenance: oil/oil filter/labour-$330. Long term maintenance cost on THP is slightly higher than NA.
2.Higher than Proton but comparable to most Jap cars
3.Gb on THP is Aisin,sliky smooth, one of the most reliable on contis, mine on 5th year & no issues.More than 15,000 postings in the 408thread,not a single complaint on this Gb! Gb on NA is AT6,minor jerks but reliable.

Yes but not brake pads or any item that is considered wear & tear component .

Actually it is not too tough to change the battery, just more complicated than normal Asian cars only...
And what i usually observe is that unlike other cars, our 'warning' is too short like just 1-2 times u feel hard to start then the 3rd time is like really cant start anymore...
