Hi guys, I'm doing second last semester for B.C.S for Games Development, I pretty much got done with all the hard stuff already and kicked forward my schedule for all the goyang kaki subjects. (Co-co, Internship, Malaysian Studies, and etc.) I joined in March 2013.

So now, my issue is, in my original course structure for March 2013, I had to take Malaysian Studies, but now when I check my academic requirements subject list, it says I do not need to take Malaysian Studies. Originally, I planned to take all 4 leftover subjects, but now in my OCMS, it says I only require 3. And the total credit hours do check out if I add only those 3 subjects. I also noticed that the later course structures past mine, no longer has Malaysian Studies in their lists. Instead they have 'TITAS' and 'Hubungan Etnik.'

Have I somehow been luckily exempted from taking the Malaysian Studies subject? I also scared to raise question to the staff, because they might realize, and make me have to take another subject to replace the slot.  Should I just keep this quiet?

Right now for credit hours it says:
Units: 123.00 required, 108.00 taken, 15.00 needed

My leftover subjects:
Co-co is 2 credit hours
Internship (Doing this semester) is 6 hours
Operating Systems is 4 hours
Elective Subject is 4 hours

Total hours if included subjects above is: 124 credit hours

Any help would be appreciated. And since to apply graduation now is fully online, won't I just have to go through my OCMS academic requirements, and check that it's complete? And if I do just these 3 subjects, it should be considered complete.

I do understand, but I was also weighing the pros of being able to miss out on the subject. Only 3 subjects load in the next semester, and also don't have to pay 1.5k+ fees. Haha. But the risks are clear. So I should just communicate with my faculty and clear it out la right? Maybe the exemption wasn't a mistake somehow. (Oh please god.)

1) does anyone has ERU number?

2) i postponed 4 of my final exam using MC which mean i'll be taking supplementary exams instead.. my question is, can i postponed the supplementary exam and take the final on next semester? for example, can i carry my coursework mark to the next semester and take the exam using previous semester coursework mark?

Hi, April intake 2016 here, how to calculate the attendance?
Actually I'll be away from this Friday to next Thursday, which means I'll be missing 3 class of Essential English.
That's one week of classes. Just now I asked  the lecturer and she said she can't accept it because I can only miss 2 classes or else you will be barred.

There are 7 weeks in this trimester. I'll be missing 1 week that means my attendance will be 6/7  which is still above 80%. Why did she not allow it

Its  3 classes per week for this subject (Essential English). So 7×3=21 class total in this semester for this subject. I'll be missing 3 so 18/21 that's ~85%.

Pls correct me if I am wrong a not before I go argue with her this Wednesday agn

Edit: if this isn't going to work out, a >RM 1000 of plane ticket will loss

I stayed in mmu hostel , it is really quite nice , but is pretty damn hot here , plus the weather recently , other than that i think is ok 

foundation in it and will take degree later on,
wondering what laptop should I get ? any rec on model or what spec should be fine ?

is it that bad ? actually i heard that the hostel is no longer under mmu , they have change the hostel system ,and now is under bigphase hostel management . the renovation did a pretty good job i think  but really lack of food stall . 

Read from Fb that it was for hostels by the new hostel management  Luckily it is optional, else really need to complain.

From what i hear, internet is shitty because of too many 'unnecessary' activities which affected other students. So with this new thingy, you want high internet for your own activity, pay up and dont hog the line.

not my say whether it is fair or not as I am not affected. what is the max speed without charges? once anything is outsourced, it becomes a business venture dy..so the company will sure want to reap profits..so students who are affected need to raise a complaint. At the same time, they need to ensure that they dont hog the line for their activities.

what is the min speed without charge? i would like to know what are the infrastructures that the company has installed to warrant the charges
