Guys I want to ask, in my assignment it says that we must work in groups of 2. The people that i know already have a partner, and I forgot about this assignment until just yesterday.

So now I got little time to look for a partner so I may as well work alone. Anyone got similar experiences and were able to submit their assignment alone? Your lecturer allowed it?

I’m meeting with my lecturer tmrw ansd I hope he says that I can work alone. lol

I also dont wanna partner with the leftovers cus I already give too many ppl free marks these past few assignments..

or do they mean 40% out of 100% to pass?

Minimum 50% for course-mark (20/40)*
Minimum 40% for final exam (24/60)

*for supplementary exam.

But if both minimum you still not pass.

Hi, i would like to ask few questions.

1) Usually there will be how many people in one class? (Engineering)

2) What are the percentage for malays, chinese and indian? ( I scare i cannot blend in as my previous school has too many chinese which makes me alone everyday)
*
Im doing electronic engineering, and the Indians and internationals are the minorities compared to all the others in all of my classes. Malays and chinese i think are balanced. But dw, most can hold a convo in english quite well.

guys, in the academic handbook it states that if you drop a subject in Week 1 and Week 2, you will be given a 100% refund right? I dropped it today which is 14/07/2019, a day before Week 3. Please tell me that this subject won't be included in the payments ?

I've never been to any uni nor do I know much about them, so please bear with me. What do you guys mean by refunding the subject? Don't we pay our fees by semester? Or do we actually pay by per subjects?
*
Pay per subject. For MMU, it's RM1.55k per subject

Can anyone here recommend any off campus accomodation? Preferably one with more locals than internationals? Budget would be below rm600, rooms would be most realistic i think

Fellas, I fucked up one of my subjects last semester and now I have to take supplementary for the first time.

I'm confused as to how it works, how many marks are needed to pass supplementary? and does it add up with the subject coursework mark? I got 30% for my coursework.

Does supplementary still follow the same guideline as final exam (need to get more than 40 marks) to pass ?

I know that overall mark needed to pass is >=50

Yes to both questions. Make sure you are aware of the exam procedure as it will be online based this time (unless you are from accountancy).

Good luck

Wait so I'm sorry lol, so basically with my coursework mark of 30% all I have to do is achieve a minimum of 40 marks (24% of 60%) in the finals ? anything less than 40 marks would be a fail right? and would that give me a passing grade which is a C?

im asking a lot because i literally have another big exam on the same day, 30 mins after the supplementary sad.gif

Yes, correct. 30% is strong for CW, just the 40% requirement is a pitfall.

ahh ok ok one last question ;d, highest grade for supplementary is a C rite?

Waiiiiit I thought the 40% requirement is 40 marks out of 100 not 40% out of 60%, omg if its the latter I would be screwed
