Hi, I already apply dip acc programme at MMU Melaka and soon to be register on Nov 18 intake. Anyways, I have some questions to ask

- is it better for me to stay on or off campus ? Hows the price different between them ?

- im not spm leavers, I have working experience (4 years) before, so i kinda a lil bit late, is there anyone like me has entered MMU years after their spm taken ? (Just wondering)

- if take a dip acc, do MMU accept a credit transfer if I pursue a degree after finishing my dip ? If yes, usually how many years/sem left for me to finish my degree at MMU ? I was thinking (dip 2 years excellent grades — bach start on sem 4/5 means 2 years also) correct me if Im wrong.

- last, is the lecture only in English ? most of the lecturers are local or foreigner ? Asking bcs Im not that good in English..

Hi, i will try to answer the parts that I know:

- most of the students are spm/stpm leavers but i have encountered students with several years of working experience too. That will be your advantage actually.

- you can do credit transfer but there will be some general guideline. probably others can advice or you can ask your faculty office for further info

- yes, most (if not all) classes are in English. have a mixture or local and international lecturers. don't worry, judging from your post..you are okay..use this opportunity to brush up your English then

No such thing as the easiest program but if you want to avoid calculus and programming subjects, you may want to apply for Bachelor of Marketing (Hons.).
But why avoid programming though?

1. On campus will save you traveling time and some money too.
2. There will likely be few people like you and will be envied by others due to perceived notion that you are more financially stable than your coursemates.
3. Likely yes, but not sure on the details.
4. MMU is where students came in without ability to converse in English to graduating with ability to do so. So, you will do just fine.

asking if anyone here from MMU Melaka staying oncampus hostel. Is the room attached with bathroom or the bathroom is outside of the room ?

After initial payment, accommodation and insurance fees has been made and printed out all of the forms to be submit, during registeration day, is there any fees to pay ? Asking if theres any hidden fees from MMU...

guys im really confused about this rn, my finals coursework mark is worth 60%, is my minimum for finals must be 24% or 40% out of 60% to pass?

or do they mean 40% out of 100% to pass?

what do you mean by finals coursework mark?
and which faculty?

Minimum 50% for course-mark (20/40)*
Minimum 40% for final exam (24/60)

*for supplementary exam.

But if both minimum you still not pass.
