Common Gearbox Problem:
Gear unshift or drop to neutral - Eaten or damage synchronizer gear. Repair / rebuild recommended as it will cause the other gear to break down as well.
Gear jam or unable to neutral - Damage synchronizer gear, ball bearing, chipped gear or broken pinion. If left unattended you need to change the gearbox
Gear above or bottom unable to shift in (1st, 3rd, 5th or 2nd, 4th) - Very series problem, loose end nut or spoil ball bearing. Same as above.

Common Turbo Gearbox Problem (Pecah Gear / Gear Hancur)
Gear pressure (KG) load unbalance - Due to normal gearbox are meant for daily driving hence gear are normal/fine pitch n build for good Fuel Consumption
Gear crack after cold down or start car on the next day - Abuse used on certain gear as gear are unbalance in power. Same as above
Gear very bad sound and after a while crack - Wrong build of gear ratio (fine pitch mix HD pitch / missing gap / missing ratio) aka rojak

Type Of Common L.S.D

Clutch Type L.S.D The clutch type has a stack of thin clutch discs, half of which are coupled to one of the drive shafts, the other half of which are coupled to the spider gear carrier. Not suitable for everyday driving and it kill you drive shaft faster as slow turn will have some clutching sound and force feedback at the wheel & steering as well. Early stage required more drainage as you need to break in the clutch and drain the carbon dust.

Geared Type L.S.D Geared L.S.D use worm gears rather than clutches of the clutch type and the cones of the cone type, and work by "multiplying" the torque from the slowest moving wheel to the fastest, rather than actively controlling slip. Although, for extreme drifting, a geared L.S.D is less effective compared to a clutch type LSD. Torque sensitive differentials are rarely used in Rally motor sports, however.

Viscous Type L.S.D The viscous type is generally simpler because it relies on hydrodynamic friction from fluids with high viscosity. Viscous L.S.D are less efficient than mechanical types, that is, they "lose" some power. In particular, any sustained load which overheats the silicone results in sudden permanent loss of the differential effect. This is not serviceable and when the differential's behavior deteriorates, the VLSD center is replaced every 100,000 km.

Friction Type L.S.D As what the name have suggested it give pressure to the differential hence friction on them causing both of the wheel to lock up. The pressure of the lock up can easily be adjust by replacing the spring load on it. Very simple in design yet they work as efficiency as the Clutch Type L.S.D. No special gearbox oil or treatment required as you can service and replace the gearbox oil like normal unlike the other type of L.S.D. No clutching sound or feed back on the wheel on slow or normal corner as easier to drive and last longer as there no wear off silicon or clutch to be replace. Good for everyday driving and capable for track / drag / drift purpose at the same time.

Why Final Ratio or Close/Wide Ratio:

Final Ratio will affect all you related gear from 1 to reverse gear. By altering it to "Lighter" you car are more willing to move and respond hence feel like a performance upgrade kind like 1.3 to 1.4~1.5 kind of feel. Changing air filter, ekzos, pully & etc don't give you this much performance increase differences. Your car now have much higher torque and respond. SERIES GOOD SHIT ! Not bullshit !

Close Ratio As what it suggested ! Close ratio mean the gear ratio are much closer as the differences are small hence very smooth and close shift. Close ratio also give you much faster respond and you do reach you maximum speed at much shorter time. Under power engine (Final gear or 5 gear hard to max out the speed indicate of lack of power) are much better off with Close Ratio. Close Ratio also give you better gear shift option in hill and corner as sometime you just want a slightly lighter or heavier shift than the one you currently on and Close Ratio offer that.

Wide Ratio As what it suggested ! Wide ratio mean the gear ratio are much wider than each other. Gear can now be drag for much further distance before shift. Wide ratio are very good for drag and long distance performance. Turbo vehicle appliances are better with these setting as they have more turbo play time.
