Seorang kakitangan Poslaju bernama Tom Yana telah meluahkan rasa kecewanya di laman Facebook di mana dia melahirkan rasa kecewa dengan Amb**k Yap Kwan Seng selepas telah dihalau oleh pihak pengawal keselamatan.

Menurutnya semasa hendak menghantar barang-barang kakitangan bank berkenaan, pekerja bahagian bilik surat bank berkenaan dikatakan tidak mahu mengambil barang-barang peribadi milik kakitangan mereka kerana ia arahan dari pihak atasan.

Jadi beliau berkata ambil kisah sangat dan terpaksa menghantarnya satu persatu disetiap bagunan tinggi tersebut.

Semasa sedang menyusun barang dilobi bank berkenaan tiba-tiba datang seorang pengawal keselamatan menghalau saya untuk buat kerja diluar bagunan tersebut.

"Boss tak bagi buat dalam ini sebab semak. Nanti orang-orang luar, kakitangan Amb**k serta boss-boss di sini nampak tempat ini bersepah. Tak elok," kata pengawal keselamatan tersebut kepada beliau.

"Kami Kurier Poslaju dihalau macam anjing. Kami buat kerja untuk siapa? Staff kau orang punya barang personal. Aku fikir, aku bekerja untuk logo tertera pada baju uniform ini saja."katanya yang nyata kesal dengan tindakan pengawal keselamatan berkenaan.

Beliau dalam pada itu berkata "Staff Amb**k Yap Kwan Seng, please take note! Bos anda tidak mahu barang anda dihantar ke pejabat anda sejak minggu lepas... salam" tulisnya mengambarkan kata-kata yang digunakan semasa menghubungi setiap kakitangan bank tersebut untuk memaklumkan penghataran barang mereka.

Dia meluahkan terpaksa menghubungi mereka menggunakan telefon sendiri yang telah kehabisan bateri walaupun belum selesai menelefon semua mereka. Namun ceritanya nasib ada seorang hamba Allah, iaitu seorang Despatch memberi dia pinjam telefon sekejap untuk menghubungi baki kakitangan bank yang lain yang semuanya berjumlah 40 item perlu dihantar.

Bagaimanapun luahan beliau tidak tamat disitu saja apabila ia terus berlarutan dibahagian komen status berkenaan.

Menurut Tom, bukan sifatnya melakukan kerja macam sesetengah kakitangan Poslaju lain untuk menangguhkan perhantaran barang keseokan harinya.

"Kita bising-bising pagi-pagi, kita kasi habiskan. Bukan macam yang lain diam-diam bawa balik. Kalau saya tak ada hati perut, pergi 'mam' sama budak baru, tak habis hantar, pandai-pandai buat esok. Saya tak sampai hati," katanya.

Beliau juga dalam komen dengan rakan-rakannya memberitahu bahawa ini bukan cara dia bekerja.

"Sorry aku cakap yang aku tak suka kerja macam itu, 5 tahun aku bekerja inilah kali pertama aku dihalau."

" Staff bahagian bilik surat tidak bersalah, pekerja Ambank lain pun tidak bersalah, tapi aku rasa terkilan dengan pengawal keselamatan bank itu." luahnya yang nyata kecewa diperlakukan sedemikian. -

Before he start to go all kecian and ask for sympathy with his predicament... he can for once, deliver them all .. then report the situation to his own office/poslaju HQ . this is a classier way to respond.

That's what he trying to do. Since the mail room refuse to accept the package, he decided to deliver it in person. He was sorting through the mails in the lobby when the guard throw him out.

The news go and add details like how he wasted his phone battery power to call each of the recipients.. all wanna induce sympathy (but its JUST ALL IN A DAYS WORK for many workers. nothing to sympathise about.)

The guard is under direct command from the higher ups, cant blame the guard. And having it sort outside the premise doesnt mean ego bruised (alot of delivery guys also sort their stuff outside the premise... from soft drinks to cartons of rice. they still PROUD OF THEIR JOB and do it with pride.) . he is not being forced to sort in toilet or near dirty longkang , so nothing o be sympathised about all.

Inside got air con, outside maybe hot a bit and many passers by/ hot OLs watching and giggling .. I believe face problem is main cause here. But this is an exception case rather than the norm (he might spend 95% of his working life doing this in style and 5% special ego-bruising case like this) . Such predicaement also wanna cry foul?

Then it's salah people who ask stuff to be send to their workplace. Solution is easy.

Just take back all the stuff and leave a POSLAJU card ask to collect from Poslaju office. kan senang?

You cannot simply tabur your stuff merata-rata...especially at bank somemore. Use brain sikit lah. besides, not his fault if the receipient refused to collect pun. Put in remarks column lah.

Like I said earlier, the mail room should just take all the items (takkan you expect the postman to bring all the items back when he's at your doorstep).

Then either confiscate all the items or issue warning letter to all the employees that use the bank address for personal delivery.

First is depends on what agreement or employee rule they have.

If it state company facilities Not for personal use, then you have to follow the rules.

Actually, not receiving the items should be good enough, some cases, employees have been called in for a short inquiry or if still persist, a domestic Inquiry.

But to prevent a knee jerk effect, all employees should have been notified at least a week or two that the rule is getting reinforce soon that no personal mails can be send to the receptionist, guard etc.

My previous company also did like that, no one dares to receive the stuff to office oledi unless its related to work. Even personal mail like Credit Card statements, bills etc also cannot

I'm sure they will reinforce the ruling on company mails and telephones as well.
