QUOTE(weyjit @ Sep 28 2015, 02:16 PM) I understand that if I want to retain old telephone number, i will be charge rm1 per month. Now I would like to retain old number do i have to continue pay rm25 phone rental ? I will be given a new phone number by the time i register for UNIFI, right? yes, new number that comes with Unifi. suggest you cancel the old number, if no use of it. got rental fee somemore (charges varies, i think). I was told RM10 to keep the old TM number. last last, i just cancel it. now using Unifi number for calls. no issues so far.

QUOTE(tai_digidestany @ Oct 11 2015, 08:08 PM) -No more branding Streamyx -All start with UniFi from 1 Mbps till 50Mbps.Will have their own variants.100Mbps maybe next year. -FTTH will start from 30Mbps.No more 5/10/20 after this for FTTH -VDSL and ADSL will cater 20Mbps and below -Don’t expect pricing cut but more on values add in. exactly what i heard few months back. tm planning to unify all the fixed broadband branding into single "Unifi" brand umbrella. whereas the wireless broadband could be from the new tm-p1 LTE branding.

QUOTE(arm_audioslave @ Oct 15 2015, 09:08 AM) hi, need to clarify, as far i know, high rise building using copper cable. if im subscribe to this new plan 30mbps, can i get full speed?? what is the maximum speed support by copper cable? thnks usually, must get at least 80-85% (~25Mbps) of the promised speed (30mbps) assume 15-20% loss due to overhead.

just wondering since i read few contradicting info.
the RM179 (gst exclusive) for Unifi Advance 30 (i guess same for Unifi Advance 50's promo price), is it permanent/perpetual? not just limited to 24 months?
what happened after 24 months? price revert back to RM199?

QUOTE(MGM @ Oct 19 2015, 03:28 PM) By that time maybe some other operators will offer 100Mbps for rm100. well, this answer is important because i'm on VIP5 for years, over contract liao. i wont upgrade easily, so i need to know if the promo rate is permanent or not

QUOTE(zeese @ Oct 19 2015, 04:05 PM) the RM179 rate is not permanent. After 2 years, it becomes RM199, but by that time, the contract is expired and you can downgrade or change isp if you want.. yeah, that's what i thought will not upgrade for the time being, until better offer or ISP
