Back in the day, I was same as you. This thread got so much negativity towards tm UniFi. After reading 20 pages of this thread, I also post something like yours. I'm former 4 Mbps streamyx user. The thing is, there are so many people Lodge here just to complain and finding people who have the same problem as them with hoping that can solve it together. Very few people post something as they're satisfied with their broadband. My advice (as being advice to me back then), higher speed is always better. Now I'm using 30 Mbps and very happy with it.
Yeah.l something like onces you go 30mbps, you can never go back.

Nah. I was travelling and only came back yesterday.

Well, expensive or not I can't judge because I'm the type of person who is willing to pay to have an enjoyable experience. The problem is the Internet in Malaysia is monopolized by TM and I don't have better option for now, so rather thinking how to justify it might as well subscribe and use it. If I think I can afford it, I will go for it. I'm using this 30 Mbps by myself only, not sharing with anyone. Usually from Mondays to Thursdays as I will go back to hometown on Fridays after work and only come back on Mondays. Still, I went for it.

But still, do you download a lot, torrent or just normal surfing and fb? Because if its just surfing and fb, Im pretty sure a 5mbps will already be sufficient. Even watching youtube on hd would be adequate on 5mbps. But then again, its your money. Cant dictate how you use it.

the ultimate truth is you are still going to suffer no matter which you choose.
Its all about worthy or not. To me, definitely a yes.
+1
I also always fell short changed by tm by their frequent disconnections and technical issues. Whem I call 100, I will always ask if they deduct the days I gad connection problems because its their fault.
