Would suggest asus rt-n18u. Previously using stock innatech router and would only get about 10mbps with 2 bar signal strength but with strong signal, it can get full speed. after changing to this router, speed does not decrease when it goes 2 bar.

The tech team come over to my house just now. They suggest me to look for Asus RT66U because that router has 3 antena

That is also a good model if no money constraint. asus rt-n18u have 3 antenna too but the downside is that the router only support Single Band 2.4Ghz and not the latest dual band nor AC protocol.

Is there any downside of a single band ? Sorry for asking silly question.I am newbie
