I can get max speed also if torrent BUT very slow ftp download speed, max about 500-600kbps
FTP download from my Europe server

And I do notice that my IP hardly change even if I restart the router a few times, always get 1.9.xx.xx IP
Is it because after exceed certain bandwidth TM throttle users??
And btw I'm still using the default TM equipment. Will it be better if change the router?
*
i only use torrent, no idea about others.

unifi does not throttle, as far as i know.

been using vip10, now unifi30, been good all the time.

yes, a better router should improve things, esp wifi.

i almost always get this:

How much u paying for 30mbps? Did TM offer you free TM to TM calls?

TM telemarketing called me and offered 30mbps Jumbo pack for RM 219 with TM to TM free calls remains...

So I decided to walk in to TM point to verify this and according to TMpoint staff there is no such thing as TM to TM free calls even if their sales/telemarketing teams calls to offer.

I am really confused with this matter  icon_question.gif

yr offer is pretty std, go for it!

Just upgrade to 30mbps last month at rm199 and now they revise the price for new subscription at rm179. I'm stuck at rm199/month for 2 years!! Dammit. Really regret answering they offer last month. Feel like being cheated
*
have u seen yr bill(s)?

i upgraded 4 months ago and assumed rm199.

i never asked anything but all 4 bills so far showed charges were indeed rm179 (plus a litle extra for excess calls).

do call them up.

You are lucky for four bills were 179, ours are 199. 169 +30 for HyppTV.
*

reward for loyalty? area specific? promotional period specific? hmm.gif

I register my interest at TMpoint for 30Mbps unifi at 3-Oct and they manage to install yesterday. When i check my unifi bill only, it shows RM179 (didnt show any other charges). I thought RM179 is only the broadband price exclude the must-subscribe package (ruby, aneka, etc)?

Also, my apple store app download is freaking slow with unifi sad.gif i read somewhere its common for unifi?
*
yr bill is same as mine! there will be no other charge.

apple... yes, slower than before. but they'll complete.
