Just to share my experience,

Upgraded yesterday before lunch around 1230.. Staff said 3 days will upgrade but  30 Minute later got sms saying I subscribe to hyppTV Anywhere.. Check occ, package upgrade already.. Got back to home at 6pm, already can use. The connection also restarted itself.. I think TM disconnect the PPPOE session coz I can see the uptime around 6 hour when I got back.

went to tmnutpoint and they gave me the discount.

still waiting for the speed issue to be resolved

may i know how long does it take for unifi to upgrade my current 5mpbs to 30mbps plan?

noted! i checked in the online and its stated that it's already 30mbps package, but so far i don't think it's running at the speed yet. will go home and check it later.

I did it at tm point cyberjaya......after 3 hours upgraded dy

Today I went to puchong TMpoint, the staff told me no such thing, if i want to take the new RM 179 30mpbs package, I have to cancel my existing RM199 30mpbs package and they will charge me because I cancel the package within 2 years. Sien !!!

Mean I just go tm point to upgrade then I can get within 24 hours, yesterday I try apply online to upgrade to 30mbps and state on website take 3 days to process

what free gift ?

For my case...
-i lodged complaint to skmm on weekend
-i went to tmpoint bayan baru today(wednesday) without tm call me(dont know when tm gonna call me)
-i explained to the tmpoint staff and she help to key in into system
-less than an hour, OCC updated

Usually questions like this makes very little sense without first stating where you are going to use the router. How big is your house? What type is it? Is your area filled with many wireless connections?

Any router's coverage is "good" if used in a direct line of sight.

saw most of you here who did their upgrade/change of plan can be updated within 24hours

but mine already 4 working days still not updated and FINALLY today my unifi portal show this status

HAHAHA u cant imagine how many times i called TM 100 within the past 4 days

9 out of 10 times..its either they tell me they need to transfer me to here there everywhere to holland and nobody answer for more than 20mins (yes i meant that)

i called them every day and no answer given, some i give them the reference number they say in progress, i ask them shud b 24hours right? "ya..tapi i tak tau kenapa case ni lain la..ataupun i transfer you kpd account update dept..    

sincerely, i felt this forum can provide more information than them

Yeah. At this point, they might as well just make it official and say that all upgrades from VIP packages will get the Voice Pack addon for free.

As for new subscribers, I would encourage you to spend a bit of extra time 'negotiating' with TMpoint staff and/or supervisors. You just might get some freebies .

It feels like they are quite anxious to have everyone migrate off the VIP packages. I will have to try harder when I go convert my parents' and parents-in-law' VIP packages. Current plan is to get them to throw in free Jumbo packages

They want to save bandwidth.

Sharing my unpleasant Unifi journey here. Wanting to upgrade initially to VIP 10 from my streamyx 2 as I have bought a media player for streaming. Then the new Unifi 30 Advance package came out. For a few dollars more, I can increase my speed a few times!. So aimed for 30 Mbps. Was willing to go for RM189 + 20 but learnt about friends here who got the free calls thrown in. Called 100, TM point, no success for the free calls. TM telemarketing called yesterday and I asked for the free calls. Cannot she said.

Getting angry at TM Unifi now, why free call for others and not me. So now looking at streamyx 8 instead. My family net usage is not that high. Only using HD TV and thus 4K requirement will not surface.

Upgrade to Unifi a few years down the road. Ha.
