QUOTE(Ramjade @ Nov 12 2015, 10:57 AM) All 3 ASG. Less than a year. Loss. Few months after buying (I bought before there was GST). Klci start dropping. Everything going downhill. And that NAV drop so much. So if factor in NAV and 5% SC, if I were to withdraw, there's at least a drip in 20-30% of my capital. My unit trust investment in variable price ones is also making a loss.. I am wondering whether to wait until next year or not.. Its been a year using DCA but still making a loss despite income declaration (maybe because of the previous turmoil) I was actually deciding on whether to liquidate and put to FP.. Still unable to decide.. This post has been edited by smartinvestor01: Nov 12 2015, 11:16 AM

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 12 2015, 11:17 AM) yeah, I do feel the new system kinda tedious plus slow. teller didn't tell me, but I can see myself. ASW or AS1M easy only. ASM transaction normally take more time I observed do add more on the fund u have the least. u need to balance it. but for u asw2020 kinda hard to get need to try luck. my time I did, juz taruh only whichever fund I want to dump, have the least amount Well, most of the time when i was to try ASM, the teller say can i try the others? Lol.. It seems to me that it was not the preference of the teller to try ASM at the first place unless at the time that there are not much customers waiting.. So my strategy changes whereby i will try ASM first when there is not much customers waiting..

I went to try top up just now..
Intended to try RM350 for my ASW2020, but only got RM200..
So balance RM150 i put to AS1M..
As such, ASW2020 is now based on luck already..

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Nov 12 2015, 03:03 PM) Cause he used to be able to get rm20-40k one shot. Now only rm12k. He sure has a lot of chunks of money to try over the counter.. Really makes me wonder how he made so much of money.. Really envy...

QUOTE(filage @ Nov 13 2015, 01:02 PM) Guys, is AS1M inferior compare to ASM or AsW? Last time always hear people said the AS1M is not as good or so on and some say things like not capital guarantee or got some service charges in future compare to ASM or ASW. Is that true? But i notice it can generate 6.x% yearly which is comparable to ASM or ASW rigth? That time when i still recalled ASNB mentioned that the benchmark return was about 4.0% per annum, but somehow many of the people believed that the returns are only 4.0%.. Instead what they forget what the term ''benchmark''..

With the implementation of the new system on ASW2020, i will be assuming that many OTC officers will be more reluctant to try for us (non HNW clients) based on what i heard that the new system is very tedious compared to the old system.. No choice..

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Nov 16 2015, 09:26 AM) Not true. I only have ASM and I managed to topup with 100% no failure. And I am not a HNW client nor will I ever apply for it even if I have the money. As normally the amount that I put in is quite minimum, most of the times i see the officers are quite reluctant.. Maybe i should try to put in higher amount.. lol..

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 16 2015, 04:07 PM) what I mean was the new system for ASM kinda slow. teller have to wait for a moment for the screen to load before can do anything. so I assuming the upcoming new system for asw2020 also same problem form use the same one like ASM Yes, I also recalled that the officers also say the new system quite slow.. Also thanks for the reminder..

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 16 2015, 04:12 PM) the account number would be same with ASM right? 1 number for all ASx Not sure.. but the answer will be out when ASW2020 have change to the new system.. But for some investors who have invested in both ASG and ASM, they can check straight away.. This post has been edited by smartinvestor01: Nov 16 2015, 04:14 PM

If the account number for ASM and ASW2020 are the same, would it affect our flexibility to try over the counter? If curious as I heard many opinions about this..

QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 17 2015, 01:09 PM) what u heard? mind sharing Few years back when i was doing sales, an officer from RHB informed me that once all funds has been upgraded, a person can only try once over the counter but i am not sure whether the one time refers the chance to try deposit in multiple different FP, or can only opt to try for 1 FP at a time.. Which means if i have three FP funds, i can only opt to try one of the three funds over the counter.. if not successful, i need to try again by taking number again.. But this information is not validated..

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Nov 17 2015, 01:15 PM) Not true. I have topup many times (repeatedly cause scared to be greedy to try one lump sum) for ASM before and no such thing about trying only once. Oh.. what i heard is from different account (e.g: .. maybe when ASW2020 new passbook is ready, can try.. The information from the RHB officer might also be biased and inaccurate also because that officer try to promote ASG and Imbang after informing me about this.,. QUOTE(nexona88 @ Nov 17 2015, 01:25 PM) tis I think because the banks don't want to have 1 customer doing transaction OTC take long time. it may affect their KPI thus take another number. so when u take another number, u consider as another customer Yape.. that should be the rationale behind it..

QUOTE(wil-i-am @ Nov 17 2015, 01:25 PM) I dun think the info holds water Yes.. because the confidence of the investors are still majorly on fixed price funds compared to variable price funds..
