Fortunately, I have an ASM passbook which I opened last month. After the disheartening result from ASW, decided to propel my ammo to ASM. Fired a few rounds at the target & hit it numerous times 100% hit rate per day track record still intact

Sadly couldn't get any unit from ASW, so top up everything into AS1M. 

I heard from an officer that as1m system right now does not allow people to trial and error to bank in money but only allow for withdrawal..

Wa lao, it really makes me think that it is better to take the time now to just try whenever we can before more restrictions are there to obstruct us from trying over the counter..

However, exemption applies to high networth clients / private banking clients.

Actually can attempt higher than RM20k per bid, but the staff told me that any bid surpassing that amount, will have to get an authorization from a higher ranked officer...I think it is waste of time & could prove fatal in my quest, so decided to abide by the rules.

Yes in CIMB, any top up above 20K need the officer to override the transaction.
For MBB it is 5K.

Hi, i recently read in a link that we can purchase these AS units online without going to the bank. However, upon checking Maybank's site, only ASB can be purchased from the site.

Does this depend on the bank? I heard CIMB and RHB allows (have not verified though). My normal banks are PBB and MBB.

I bought ASG-Pendidikan from Alliance Bank and i can't check the current status of the funds from their site. I thought of adding more cash from other banks which allows me to view and add more cash at my convenience.

last time (4-5 years ago) my maybank branch clerk tried 4990, can passed without override.
5k and above system pop out need officers to override, not sure about now

Today top up asm successful , asw bank officer said unit fully subscribed

1 more thing, do we need cash on the spot to top-up? or we can give them our debit card to top up?
for example if we do it in MBB, can we give MBB Debit card? or have to withdraw cash.
