Am I right to say that the best time for investors to trade is on the 1st of every month when the seller and buyer will not lose any dividends to ASNB?  Coz transactions on any other dates mean both seller and buyer will lose out the dividends on that particular month to ASNB.

Not really now. This is because now ASX is "hot" again. So if one have the opportunity to topup but didn't take it, but decide to topup on the 1st and did not get any units,  then he will lose out 6.x% for that month. For sellers yeah is profitable as the previous month have been counted. For sellers, yes that was the best way when one can pick how much he/she want to buy. Now any chance to grab unit, just grab.

Got will or not? If got let lawyer settle everything. If no,  you need to manually approach pnb staff anf ask how to go about it.

Successful try 10k to asw today

managed to open AS1m at RHB KLCC earlier.

Damn pissed off with CIMB Klcc la.. The tall specky guy manning the reception counter... Twice told me cannot open.. Today lagi straight tipu me say system offline.. 😡😡😡
Immediately walked to opposite RHB and straight away managed to open new ASM.. Though RHB also kinda hesitant... But i told them mesti ada punya.. Saya tau.. Lol..
Now my collection of all 3 ASX are complete, albeilt just small amount la 😆
But luckily managed to clear the toughest hurdles which is the get the passbooks.. Phew..

Thought I only facing this problem with CIMB Kuching nearby UTC   Other CIMB branch same issue lah?

But mine only is to update my passbook... every year once got dividend, i'll try to update at CIMB coz nearest to my workplace... but everytime the staff will say "system offline"... So, i went to the 2nd nearest bank, which is Maybank & straightaway they update for me....

      CIMB SUX!!! Their ATM machine also got lots of problems

Go try cimb near twin towers. You gonna vomit blood. Instead of helping me to open ASX account, they keep pestering me with their bijak malaysia thing. Staff at rubber road very rude. Try to brainwash you with how good bijak malaysia is too. Gonna blacklist these 2 branches. Btw, I still think the cimb branch at Jalan TAR (near UTC) is still the best branch in kuching, although it still suck big time.

I was told only Variable fund can be purchased..
Not ASX

or is it they are unwilling to do so like most of the banks?

As far as i know , asn , asn2 asn3 and asg they have , asb also available ... I saw before they have asw passbook also.

Ok, jokes apart, my plan is to focus on 1 or 2 accounts & dump $$$ into it. It is rather time, money & energy consuming to chase after every FP fund.

However, some people might not agree with my moves & prefer to own more FP funds as to have a higher chance to purchase additional units because usually sale units < purchase units.
