Chelsea and Eva Carneiro are understood to have parted company, with the Premier League champions now bracing themselves for what could prove an expensive legal battle.

The now former Chelsea first team doctor was ordered to return to work last Friday for what would have been her first appearance at the club's Cobham training ground since an incident during the Premier League encounter with Swansea City on August 8.

But Carneiro did not show up and according to club insiders she had still not been seen there today, with it now clear that she has in fact departed the club.

ok la, costa 3 match ban. but dont understand why Gabriel's red card was lifted. just because Mike Dean 2nd card was a straight red instead of a 2nd yellow?
the incident actually had nothing to do with him, he just came and grab Costa from behind which started all their confrontation.

Well, if she quits, she quits. She is popular but not irreplaceable as first team doctor. I hope she doesn't make a big deal out of this and sues Mourinho/Chelsea.

no doubt Mourinho is in the wrong, he went overboard with the blaming.
but i just hope Eva dont come back and sue us for sexism. and i doubt there is any sexism involved as well when both Eva and Jon Fearn was called back to the training grounds, and only Jon showed up for work.
dont really know whats going on behind the scenes. only can speculate, but this kind of things always unsettle people at the club. in any case, hope this goes away soon.

well, jose was shouting and scolding (as usual) at both Eva and Jon when they run back to the sideline from the pitch.
after she went on social media, Mourinho took them off the bench.
when chelsea recalled them back to the training grounds to work, Jon showed and Eva just quit and filed for law suit. she's suing that Jose called her sexist language and dismiss her because of sexism
i think chelsea has stronger grounds to win this since Jon also kena, but he came back to work
