Chelsea are prepared to keep fighting Diego Costa’s retrospective ban by demanding an arbitration hearing if the club are not satisfied with the Football’s Association’s written reasons for the decision.
The FA on Tuesday confirmed that Costa’s appeal against a three-match retrospection suspension for his clash with Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny had been rejected by an Independent Regulatory Commission.
Chelsea are furious with the decision and the fact that Arsenal defender Gabriel had his three-match ban for kicking out at Costa overturned.
