QUOTE(xarive @ Mar 9 2016, 11:03 PM) Hi all. I have Haswell Z5. What's the odd with my charger that keeps on written plugged-in but not charging even it drops to 53%? Never experienced this before but thanks for sharing incase one day it happensedit: fixed it by steps: 1. Disconnect the A/C power supply. 2. Shut down the computer. 3. Remove the battery 4. Connect the A/C power supply 5. Start the computer. 6. Under Battery... (here's the problem, Jeff--where is "battery?" I searched, and finally remembered it is under Control Panel, then System, then Device Driver, then Battery) 7. Click on Battery (at the top), and then right click on all entries that say Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery, and select uninstall. 8. Shut the computer down. 9. Disconnect the A/C power supply. 10. Insert the battery. 11. Insert the A/C power supply. 12. Start the computer. QUOTE(Prince J @ Mar 27 2016, 11:15 PM) Air con or non-aircon make not much difference, but the thermal compound and dust condition affect your in-game temperature significantly. any DIY dust cleaning method recommendation? i'm not really sure the basic things to do, usually just wipe away dust.We did measurement whenever we completed the dust cleaning jobs requested by our customers. If you take care of your laptop and do dust cleaning periodically, your laptop can last long. |

QUOTE(FuNks @ Nov 7 2016, 08:49 PM) Only tried updating them, audio still faulty. I always close lid directly and it's set to sleep when close lid, didn't have this problem, are you installing the Realtek drivers from the CD or from online Realtek website? Share driver number or try other version of drivers.iif i click Sleep, the issue wont appear. Only when i just close the lid , few hours later open back then audio will have issues. Will monitor again, thanks |

Sup guys, just sharing my story,
I had a problem with my Bluetooth speaker's sound cut off/stutter/not smooth when i download heavy stuffs or even browsing >100kB/s, tests done by using speedtest while playing music proved this, when speedtest stops, the music returns, a bit google shows that its because of interference. Bluetooth runs at 2.4 ghz so does my router as my router does not support 5ghz altho the z5 has dual band. Tried updating bluetooth but it always shows latest drivers, even finding drivers at intel and installing doesnt fix it, i gave up until i found this utility below http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html its by intel, will scan and update all your drivers that is from intel, when it scanned it showed a newer version of bluetooth drivers, gave it a shot and it installed heck a lot of stuffs compared to normal bluetooth drivers, restart and problem fixed. it also updated my intel graphics driver to latest.
