last sun, on 19/11/06, i went 2 kl sentral 2 cod with a guy name remy.
he ordered 2 units of new apple ipod @ rm 960 each...

he was dealing with me via sms...017-2236203
i met him at starbucks. i showed him da units. all perfect.
then he claimed tat he din bring cash...n said tat his mum wud bank in 2 my acc as we deal...
so we waited..
n then he said tat he has 2 go 2 meet his gf...n nt 2 wurry, da mom will bank in 2 my acc...
i told him sorry, cant do tat.
as time we waited, he continues 2 try 2 ask me 2 let him leave...i kept on saying no..
then he said he wanted 2 go 2 da washroom.
i waited near da gurdian just outside da washrooms.
after few mins, i got a sms frm him saying tat he has 2 leave n da mum wud bank in da cash in2 my acc...
but till now no money came nor i am able 2 contact him...

i wanna ask if any1 can help me here?

Cause you said possible con case, so my assumption would be that your items are safe with you.

OMG hope it not another CON case. If COD.. only got cash on delivery on product. No cash.. no talk. Hope u get ur money. Do post his or her pic and do tell the mod bout the user.

and one question for you. Why you still let him took it while you know that he is delaying in paying the cash? It doesn't make any sense if you COD, and the person refuse to give you money on the spot.

My advise, file a police report, best if you did manage to snapshot his pic, or worst, do a bounty head hunt for him(which i doubt will succeed though).

did a call to the number and did not response

You should always know the rule, never give item before getting the cash

I believe he got register his prepaid or(he using postpaid), bring the police report & track him down..For this kind of ppl, force is needed.

Go with a police report stating this number is involved, see if this could help.
But as i know, it's kinda hard for them to release registration info.
Btw, it's possible that this number is unregistered also.

You might want to forget whatever he said about his mum. He might/may lie on that too since he went off with two (2) units of yours without paying you.

So, please make a police report and hope that s.o.b. get caught.

Doesn't make sense. If it was his genius plot to run away with your 2 ipods, why would he still sms you assuring you that the money will be in? He could've just walked away.

Well maybe just wait another day.

Sorry if i hit hard on you but i just fail to understand how you could allow someone walk away with your unpaid stuffs.

Please do the following before it's too late.

1. Notify Remy that you are going to lodge a police report if he doesnt respond.
2. Go lodge a report about theft. Preferbly at the KL Sentral counter if it's available or at Brickfields Police Station.
3. Get the police to contact Sentral management to obtain the CCTV recording of the incident day.
4. If the police act slow, try to notify the Sentral management of the incident and report so that they will preserve the CCTV recording of the incident day.
5. Identify the bust@rd. He is a wanted man now. Congratulations.

Remember. This is not a con case. This is a theft case!! Usually the CCTV recording will be erased on a certain period so act fast!!
